Juan: "Jake, good job leaving ROUGE, but you are mine. Same for you run-away Sonya."
Volkner: "Let's begin! Luxray..."
Juan followed by Clair followed by Blue: "Sharpedo... Gyarados... and Pidgeot..."
All gym leaders: "Let's go!"
"Well, I've got news for you. Pikachu, SPOOOTLIGHT!"
Blue: "Welcome to Sootopolis. I'm Blue of course. Nice job stopping Red Joey. However, that makes you my target."
Clair: "Tyler, I've heard of your dark powers creating trouble at Mt. Pyre. If Joey did not stop you, I'd be grovelling at your dreadful feet."

Rudy watches as Kate leaves for the Orre region. He starts to think.
Purifying the shadow Pokemon? That sounds like an experience I don't want to pass up. Me, I've already found my own purification...
Rudy turns to his mom. "Mom? I know this may be sudden, but it feels like, my duty to this world isn't over. That girl, Kate, is going to go purify Pokemon in Orre. I know, it sounds dangerous, but I feel ready. I want other people to feel the way I do right now. Being happy with the ones you love.
She nods, and says, "Before you go, take this." Rudy's mom hands Rudy a small diamond encrusted in a ring of gold. "This ring has been passed down through generations of our family. It's said to be able to call upon a mysterious force. I've never seen it, but it's said to only appear to those of a pure heart. I think that's you."
Rudy's eyes glistened in happiness, and he stuffed the diamond in his pocket. "Thank you, mom."
Rudy turned around, and ran after Kate. He screamed, "Kate!! Wait!"
He stopped in front of her, and said, "I want to come too."

Gyarados does not get hit.
Crawdaunt gets KO'd by the Electric, freezing wave.
Luxray loses 70% and is frozen in the wave.
Everyone else is uneffected.

Flare Blitz hits Raichu for 90%, making a 30% recoil for Arcanine. Arcanine then faints from Surf.
Luxray loses 30% on the Surf, causing him to KO.
Milotic and all the other pokemon besides Raichu are unharmed.

Red: Now son. I'm about to give you your frist Pokemon. Do you promise to take care of it?
Me: I promise Dad.
Red: Okay then. Here's the Pokeball.

Narrator in Jirachi voice: "It was the spring of 2006. They had just discovered that Munchlex existed and evolved into Snorlax. It also marked the true climax of Joey's family's contest domination. In the 60's, Grandma and Grampa, now the Day Care Couple in Johto, met during the contest, bitter rivals at the time. By then, only 150 pokemon were known. It was the final match, Grandma vs. Grampa. It was a 1 on 1 battle style back then. Pikachu was a wide favorite, making Ground types wonderful. It was the wierd Dugrtio and the strange Sandslash in the finals. They both used Slash when wedding proposals slipped out. They said yes and shared the trophy that year. The two then exchanged back and forth until their daughter, Diane, came onto the scene. She quickly won with Milotic, proving that their favorite pojemon was a fad in terms of usage that was done for a long time. She then met Adam right after, immediately falling in love. They soon had Joey and Sarah. Sarah was given an early MC spot, given to her when she was only 11, she just celebrating her 12th birthday, but has amazing beauty. Joey has a well known history now, and only at age 14 too. When Joey finishes the Elite Four, everyone will try to flock to the Battle Frontier and go to the Battle Dome, having Tucker as the MC."
