RE: New EEVEE evolution?
God I hope this is real. I really like it. haha

I say poison-type.
Eevee has DNA that adapts to its surroundings/elements. If it has no surroundings/elements to adapt to, what will happen to it as it matures? Normal seems very justified. It may seem boring, but if you actually think about it it is logical to think that it could very well happen.FloodBadge said:Normal-type is obviously wrong because Eevee seems to represent the options of the future. If you stay the same, it'll end up just being a boring life that never changes.
Bug-type shouldn't exist due to Bug being one of the weakest types, as well as the fact of a "Fairy-type" Eeveelution existing.
If an Eevee's DNA adapts to its surroundings, and it has nothing to adapt to, then it doesn't adapt or change. It stays the same.P.DelSlayer said:Eevee has DNA that adapts to its surroundings/elements. If it has no surroundings/elements to adapt to, what will happen to it as it matures? I'm sorry, but the reasoning behind your 'no Bug Eeveelution' is terrible. Ice is one of the worst types, and they introduced Glaceon. Saying a Pokemon shouldn't evolve into a type because said type is bad is horrid reasoning.
Even if Sylveon is Fairy, why would that make any difference as to why we shouldn't have a Bug Eeveelution?
I have to say the most logical Eeveelutions would have to be Ground or Poison. Poison due to the fact that if Sylv is a Fairy and weak to Poison, then it (poison eevee) would get the upper hand, something seen in every eeveelution duo. Plus it could have a super awesome design.
Ground because earthy areas are the ones that haven't been seen yet, plus it kind of 'rounds out the elements'.
If you got it from 2ch, then it's possibly real.Adan said:Nightingirle said:May I ask where you got this from, out of pure curiosity? (I'm pretty sure it's fake)
Yes, I found it on the GAME section of nichan.

So no, a normal type Eevee would ruin the point of what Eevee is.
I always thought that Eevee had a very weak, unstable genetic code, and that exposure to radiation from various objects (the moon, the sun, the stones, etc) mutated it, instead of Eevee adopting to its surrounds; it makes a little more sense.P.DelSlayer said:So it doesn't adapt. What happens to it when it matures? I don't think it would stay the cute little brown fox/cat/rabbit/mammalian thing forever. It makes sense.
It wouldn't have to go through a drastic change, something along the lines of this would work just fine. (I could even see Sylveon being Normal type if it wasn't for the Fairy type rumours)
For it's evolution method, I can see it having a new move that's added to Eevee's level up movepool around lv.25, making it a psuedo level up evolution.
And I don't even want a Normal Eeveelution that much, I'd much rather have Ground, Poison, Flying and Fighting Eeveelutions.

As for eeveelutions, I want a steel-type robot one, most steel types don't look much like robots (only Metagross's line, Magnezone's, Registeel, and Genesect look robotic), most look like animals wearing armor.
I see your point, but a cyborg eeveelution would make it very likely to be duel typed, not just pure steel. What they could do to make a robot is like what happened in Portal 2, transfer or upload the Eevee's brain into a robot. Not sure what the evolution method would be, but it would probably introduce some new feature, maybe augmented reality? Can't the 3DS port the models into the real world, like the Pokedex 3d?FloodBadge said:CyberCat5555 said:I always thought that Eevee had a very weak, unstable genetic code, and that exposure to radiation from various objects (the moon, the sun, the stones, etc) mutated it, instead of Eevee adopting to its surrounds; it makes a little more sense.

so an eevee + super magnetic metal = unliving robot animal? why not a cyborg? the whole turning into a robot thing is similar to turning into a ghost. you take away it's life and give it a new, unnatural body.
