A variety of shadows [Darkrai, Hydreigon, (Zoroark?)]

Hey guys. So I finally decided to start playing again. Yay me xD
Anyways, looking through scans and whatnot, something struck me.
I realize of course that it's a bit out of format, but hopefully I'll be pardoned.
Here's the list:

4-1-4 Hydreigon (NV - NV - 2 NV/2 Dragon series)
2-2 Zoroark BW
2 Darkrai EX
1 Smeargle CoL

4 Dark Patch
3 Darkness Claw
2 Pokemon Communication
2 Pokemon Catcher
4 Dual Ball
4 Rare Candy
3 Ultra Ball
3 Plus Power

3 Sage's Training
3 Bianca
2 PONT

7 Basic {D}
2 {P}
2 {C}{C}

I think this should fit into the next format, assuming we don't lose CoL?
Strategy consists of getting Hydreigon DB out quickly together with Darkrai EX, and shuffle your energies around while you build the rest for heavy spread and initial damage. Zoroark works as a quick tech with DCE, being able to nearly OHKO the hardhitters in the meta.
Anyways, any help or criticism is appreciated, but as I said I just came back so go easy on me :p

--EDIT--
-1 Communication
-2 Switch (duh, who needs em when you can give anything free retreat)

+3 Ultra Ball (thanks to raw19 for the idea)

--EDIT 2--
-1 Bianca
-1 Sage

+2 PONT

--EDIT 3--

-2 DCE
-2 Special {D}

+ 1 Basic {D}
+ 3 Plus Power (one-shot Mewtwo with Hydreigon without needing the SDE, and gain more drawpower w/ PONT/Bianca
--List fixed--

No Junk Arms or Heavy Balls?

I'd recommend either Cheren or Bianca myself. Looking at this, it shouldn't be too hard for you to empty your hand enough for Bianca to be viable on a consistent enough basis. Also, what about Ultra Ball? I think that'd be a good way to get the Dark Energy into the Discard faster for Dark Patch.

Yeah, I've been running Cheren so far and it's decent. Still it lacks a bit in the way of consistency... I suppose Bianca would probably do better.

Heavy Balls haven't worked too well for me in the past. Even when I had Donphan in there it just never appeared at the right time. xD
As for Junk Arm, I suppose it would be nice if I could get my hands on some, but I'm not sure they're quite worth putting in. Will consider proxying for now. The ultra balls I will definitely try, for a sec there I was sure they did something else. Lulz.
Thanks for the reply, sure helps me now that I'm so out of the meta. :p

Please add the strategy to the first post of this thread, thanks.

Right. Slipped my mind. Sorry about that.

RE: A variety of shadows [Darkrai, Hydreigon, (Zoroark?]

I'd think that exchanging the sp darks for darks is better b/c you can darkness patch them and darkness claw already adds damage.

RE: A variety of shadows [Darkrai, Hydreigon, (Zoroark?]

Junk arm helps a lot with only 2 catcher in this deck. For drawing power I think you should cut down the sage's by 1 or two and use like 3 PONT and 2 N.

sadly, junk arm was in Triumphant, and it is going to be rotated.

Also, I'd add Juniper and Pont. Very good drawpower they are. Random receiver wouldn't be a bad thing to add in either.....

Right. So I won't actually need to worry about the Arms. Phew xD
Well I considered both of those supporters, only problem is that usually, it seems, I'm only left with vital things in my hand. If I could pull off discarding 2 {D} and nothing else with Juniper, that would be great, I just don't find it very likely.
At a loss with what a Receiver is. Sorry, could you link/clarify? >.<

Wow... I'd forgotten how damn good you guys are xD
Okay, so I guess my final verdict on supporters looks like this:

3 Bianca
3 Sage
2 PONT

Look good?
Also: what do you guys think of the 4-1-4? Should I add another Zweilous or is it overkill?

RE: A variety of shadows [Darkrai, Hydreigon, (Zoroark?]

Bianca isn't a good supporter. Try N or more PONT for refreshing you hand. Even cheren is better than bianca.

Random Receiver – Trainer’s Goods

Reveal cards from 1 at a time from the top of your deck, show the first Support card you find to your opponent, and put it in your hand. Then, return the revealed cards to your deck and shuffle your deck.

You can use any number of Goods cards during your turn.

Okay, so playtesting this, I realized that my energies are totally overkill.
I often end up keeping 2-3 energies in my hand for a long time.
How would I solve it? Cut down on DCE?

So you have no problem getting energy or having too much now?

Actually that seems to be working very well. I also tried Rainbow over {P}, but idk, is it even in the next format?
The only thing I would've liked to work better is popping one Patch on T2, which rarely happens.

Rainbow is out, as far as I can tell. It seems we're getting some new special energy cards that each count for about 4 different types when they're in play.

Not sure how to help with Dark Patch. I keep hoping we'll get some reliable means of searching out trainers.

Something like Poke Drawer + would be awesome. This format is way too slow for me, I used to play T1 Charizard and such so heh >.>
Well the thing is it isn't really that vital to get a heavy attack in on T2, so I guess I'll be fine. As long as I get a DB Hydreigon out and juggle with energies as I get them, I can catch up.
