A Very Annoying Problem

Mods, lots of people are putting there account on "away" for no good reason. i was Wondering if there should be a rule to stop that because people have "away" when they are posting online. Away should mean that they can't go online and can't post.

Hope u can stop this!

Lol the away thing doesn't necessarily mean people are away. People just use it for fun for the sake of it. It doesn't really bring harm to people if they put their statuses as away. It's something I don't notice at all haha.

I think what he's talking about are people like PMJ and C88, who hide from the "Who's Online" list, and therefore are listed as offline, when they're really on. It is a bit annoying, but it would be wrong to take away that freedom.
 
Maybe they are busy, or they just don't want to be shown online. It's a silly thing to be annoyed at.
 
I do it so I cannot be annoyed. I know people who the minute they see me online will try contacting me with like PMs, AIM, or Skype when I am actually fairly busy with things other then them. I really don't see the problem with it.
 
Yeah, we can't take something like that out for privacy reasons.

I browse invisibly also because sometimes I just don't want to be seen as online. Sometimes I am very busy or something comes up suddenly. I get notified when new threads appear in rulings so I stop what I'm doing for a few minutes to take care of that then go back to what I was doing. The people I know the best know when I am really online from other sources. Also mods are able to see you when you are invisible.
 
It was just a annoying problem when trading and stuff like that but it's fine now. I see why people do it now.

Mod please close since I now know why people do it.
