Ok this again is goin to be somethine that has came up recently in one of my battles. Ok my opponent has a lavitar (RR) with 10 hp left and i have a Sharpedo (SW) with 20 hp left and i also have a piplup on the bench with only 10 hp left as well. K we are both down to one prize card each he attacks using rock slide to kill off my sharpedo with the intial damge then with the second effect picks off my piplup but at the same time when he damaged my sharpedo his pokebody rough skin did 20 damage to his lavitar. Now does he win because he knocked out two of my pokemon, to me only knocking out his one or is it sudden death and jus for record we both still had basic to send up.

He wins, its in the rule book,"however if you win in both ways and your opponent wins in only one, then you win".

You win if you take your last Prize card or if your opponent has no Benched Pokémon to
replace his or her Active Pokémon if it gets Knocked Out or otherwise removed from play.
But it might happen that both players “win” in one of these ways at the same time. If this
happens, play SuddEN Death. However, if you win in both ways and your opponent wins in
only one way, you win.

i jus dowloadin a book real quick and this is that part u talkin bout but we both took a prize card neither one of us won in two ways he jus knocked an extra pokemon out which im now assuming is wining another way??

Your opponent wins because he knocked out an extra pokemon, but you could wait for somebody else.

If both players had only 1 prize left, both had pokemon to promote after the KO's, and both still had cards left to draw at the time, then each player would have only won by one victory condition. So it would go to sudden death regardless of how many pokemon you KO'd.
Here is what the compendium says:

Q. How do I win?
A. You win when you draw your last Prize or when your opponent loses his or her Active Pokémon and doesn't have a Pokémon on the Bench to replace it. You also win if your opponent can't draw a card at the beginning of his or her turn because his or her deck ran out of cards, but this doesn't happen very often. (Basic FAQ, WotC Website)

I don't see anything about KOing more than one pokemon for the last prize as being a victory condition.

Your situation=sudden death.

Expanding on it, if just one player had a benched pokemon after all effects and kos have been resolved, and the other player doesn't, the person with a benched pokemon is the winner. They would win in two ways. By taking all prizes and no bench for opponent.
