Ruling About Charizard 'd'

Hey there! This is a question that also applies to Latias ex d, etc. Charizard 'd' attack, it says 'Discard all Metal energy attached to Charizard d. OK, now if I attach any Double Rainbow Energy, Multi Energy etc (any special energies that provide any type of energy), do I do not discard ANY cards attached to it (because there are special energies instead of the metal, and the attack says 'Discard all METAL energies, or do I still discard the special energy attached instead? Please reply soon. Thanks. :)
 
Double Rainbow / Multi energy would be applied as Metal energy because it covers the cost of the attack.
 
Any energy card attached to Charizard-d which provides Metal energy MUST be discarded when using its attack. So DRE, Multi, Rainbow, Scramble, Holon's Mag/trode/Castform are forced to be discarded due to this.
 
1st: You can't Attack. you only have 3 NRG's
2nd: Only DRE, Multi become's {C} with a other Special NRG
3rd: Abhorsen is what you need =P
