Absol-EX, M Absol-EX, and Pikachu Full Art Promos! [9/18]

Again the Pikachu one doesn't even matter. I have a feeling that we're not going to ever get this one in the US.

And worlds promos aren't ever supposed to be playable since they're so exclusive. They screwed the pooch on that one and messed up both print runs for the Japanese. And the only reason anyone touched it was after google Cawthon threw it in a deck and then people started realizing it could be used in other deck types.

Other "promos" that have been good but got other runs so it doesn't quite matter-most EX promos, Ninetails, Flygon Pre-release, Altatria Prerelease.

And Catcher doesn't have odds? And Roller Skates? Second place Nationals winner this year played Roller Skates. Just because YOUR odds are bad or you dont think you want your victory to be decided on luck doesn't mean other people won't take advantage of the probability game and somehow win.

How is it the worst M-EX right now? There's Blastoise, Venusaur, Heracross...

Tropical Beach is freaking broken and it's a promo, end of the story.

And nobody forbids you to play luck-based cards, it's your choice, but your examples are totally wrong: the world champion uses Roller Skates? This doesn't mean anything, because you can't see how many people has gone home because of bad luck. And personally I no longer see a Catcher anywhere. And what if I see your M-Absol-EX (if it is still alive) and I play Trick Shovel on my deck to see if I can be quiet? I can discard my own Trainer too, where are your odds now?

Sorry if I touched your favourite Pokémon, but Lucarios (and many others) will eat it alive while you M-Evolve or while you wait for your luck.

I think Mega-Absol would be very good if they released a card like this Slowking again.
 
They had plenty of playable promos, I can make a huge list if you want. Anyways...

Pikachu - Looks great as usual, not playable.

Absol EX - Bad. Very bad.

Mega absol EX - Good,very good. Discarding is always fun, with such a cheap attack cost (Compared to other megas), a base attack of 80, discarding, if its a trainer (Great chance), you get 160 total. Add a muscle band, and you get a OHKO demon. Cant wait for the inevitable promo box of this
 
Mega Absol EX could be a beast in BW-On if it gets a spirit link card. It could OHKO a ton of things with a Muscle Band and a bit of luck (or Trick Shovel). Absol EX also has a good attack. Fighting weakness hurts both a lot though :(.
