Hi pokebeach members Im currently testing 2 empoleon decks (stunfisk, accelgor) and I was wondering if guys could help me out with this varient. Any help is appreciated
pokemon (21)
3- Emolga
3- Mew EX
4-1-4 Empoleon
3-3 accelgor (deck and cover)
T/S/S (30)
4- N
4- Cheren
4- Rare Candy
4- Pokemon Catcher
2- Switch
3- communication
3- max potion
3- lv. Ball
3- random receiver
Energy (9)
5- Water
4- Double Colorless
Strategy- use accelgors deck and cover to weaken your opponent and make them lose resouces then use empoleon to clean them up. Mew is for psychics such as mewtwo. Emolga is for getting basics. Thanks for looking :p

Stupid question, but why not just use Mew EX for an endless Deck and Cover? :p

Would add 2-3 Ultra Ball and cut a communication and one to two level balls.

-1 Max Potion for Eviolite? Works nice to protect your Mew EX.

Yeah thats kinda the point of the deck is to have an accelgor on the bench then use mew for his deck and cover then bring up Empoleon for the ko. Thanks for the advice but why run Eviolite I mean I do see where your coming from but all im gonna do is put mew up then deck and cover so then he cant get hurt any way and plus if I would use Eviolite why only 1 if I ever need it the chances of getting it are highly slim.

Arg your right, sorry, got no sleep for about 23 hours... Brain is messed up. ^^"
But still I would recommand some more draw power and some options to search like Ultra Ball or even Great Ball.
Your problem is to get Mew EX back up after each attack.
Kinda missing some shield...

I think he's fine on draw power, since he has Diving Draw. My Empoleon list (Empoleon/Terrakion/Roserade) only has 4 N 3 Cheren and 2 Juniper with no Random Receiver and it's pretty consistent.

As for the list, I think some Super Rod would help, and maybe another Switch as well. Maybe take out a Random Receiver, an Emolga and a Max potion for 2 SR and another Switch.

The reason I say Emolga is because if you start with Mew, Mew can still use Call for Family for you, so you don't have to waist a Switch to get a turn 1 CFF if you get a bad start. So you'd have 5 CFF starters if you took out an Emolga, 6 seems unneseccary. As for Max Potion, since you'll usually be using Accelgor or Mew EX, Max Potion would be pretty useless for them.

Hope I could help you out.

Doesn't Deck and Cover take away from Empoleon? I understand with the draw power, you can probably replenish, but if he's going to be the clean up guy, I'm envisioning your opponent isn't running a full bench either.

I agree, take out an Emolga, but I would not add a Switch. 2 is plenty. The only reason you need it is for Empoleon who has a cheap attack that you can easily power up while setting up another. I also don't think Max Potion is necessary...you're hitting and running for the most part.

-1 Emolga
-3 Level Ball (if main idea is to use Mew, Level Ball is not as vital)
-3 Max Potion

+1 Mew EX
+1 Communication (you have a lot of poke's)
+2 Super Rod
+3 Ultra Ball (search Mew, and thin deck so you can diving draw / top deck what you need)

Yes Deck and Cover does take away Attack Command a little bit. Why another Mew it seems to me that 3 is enough. I like your other ideas thanks.

4 Mew is just to guarantee finding it. You need to top deck Mew for this to work. That way you guarantee a Deck and Cover, and it will help replenish Empoleon's attack, ensuring you have a full bench. if not another Mew, I might add another Random Receiver to guarantee the draw power.

No way you need 4 or even 3 Mew EX. 1-2 is fine here since you always have Accelgor for Deck and Dover and you can use Empoleon if you happen to whiff the Deck and Cover. I'd add a second Prinplup in with that space.

I think gothitelle is needed in this deck. I would drop empoleon and play gothitelle to block there trainer use after deck and cover. After deck and cover which pokemon you make active?
