Well, I've recently become bored with my life. Extremely bored. Do you, the wise people of these Pokemon forums, know how to fix my problem?

I've been thinking of wanting to do something that really makes me feel like I'm alive. Get my heart pumping and possibly make me feel like I'm going to die (but not, hopefully). Achieving this adrenaline rush through painful activities is also alright. So, if you have any suggestions as to what activities I should do, please post.
 
Listen to stuff from Sabaton's album "The Art of War." It usually gives me quite the rush. If you want I can link you to the songs on youtube.
 
Not songs. Activities. Listening to songs does not count as an activity. ._.

But if you won't resort to epicness I guess I'll have to suggest activities.

How about a list of activities you've tried that didn't work?
 
I haven't tried anything except martial arts. Martial arts works, but if you suggest Martial Arts, then suggest one that I have yet to try. Ones I have tried aren't very common, such as Judo, Hapkido, and Hapmudo. So any other than that work. Of course, sports and other kinds of crazy things would be nice. I don't want people to come in here and post "Football" or "Basketball" because that really doesn't help me.
 
How about picking up an instrument? I know that when I used to play the piano I got a feeling of immense satisfaction, because I loved to play it....maybe I should pick it up again, haha.
 
^^Or...you could do what that guy from the davinci code does and put those metal belts and stuff all over your body and tighten them to stab yourself and utter strange prayers in italian before going out to kill someone to preserve a secret or find a secret about the catholic church. XD

Idk, you could try like some water activities, like wake boarding or water boarding or something(that is, if you live close to a non-frozen body of water), or even surfing. I heard there is a big rush in the tube of a wave...lol.
 
How is that the best answer? Unless you are talking about getting sexually intimate, then being with a girl in no way gives me adrenaline.

EDIT: Hmm, I may try some water sports, possibly surfing. Although I don't know how well that will work out. Thanks for the suggestion.
 
Hmmm. Interesting. In my experience being with a girl and doing stuff with her (Not just talking about sexual stuff.....other fun stuff obviously) gets me pumped up and I really feel like I'm living life.

But like I said, if the girl thing doesn't work for you Lenny, then try a guy. x)

Also, the masochism idea is good. xD...Just kidding. :p

[EDIT] Oh I had a friend who went Skydiving...That would get you adrenaline.
 
OMG wakeboarding is epic fun. Definetly worthwhile. I'd also recommend water karate. Just do ju-jitsu on a boat (YEA A BOAT :O). I dunno... I've had the same craving for excitement recently. I don't have water near by though ;P
 
I give you list. When i am feeling a little too alive, I do these things to make myself a little less alive:

-ride in trunk of car on-road
-ride on front of car on-road
-play Russian army with a strong friend
-electrocution of any sort
-bass
-more bass
-break things on head
-try new exercise types [push ins. chin unders. face offs. nip ups. extreme lunges.]
-not enough BASS, pump up the stereo
-jump on things
-snowboard is too easy. crosscountry ski is too easy. try crosscountry snowboard instead.
-lots and lots of doughnuts
-NO MORE DONUTS ;)
-cat [one for beginner. two for professional.]
-take out small business loan
-blind-folded mountain climbing
-36 hour crumb session

Now I am off to go do all these things. Good day to you ;)

This is probably completely irrelevant, but let's just say, for the sake of the thread, that I'll give you some martial art style advice if you answer this for me. :p

How was Hapkido? I watched it on Fight Quest, and it looked pretty cool. From what I saw they didn't use protective gear or anything. It was mainly taking body and head shots till you couldn't last any longer. Maybe this was just the case for this particular dojo? Whatever the case, I'd like to know how you felt it was, because if it is how it was on Fight Quest, then that should provide you with ample amounts of adrenaline.

One thing that hasn't been suggested yet is rock climbing, which is very good for getting a rush and is probably within your budget. It also doubles up as exercise if you care about that.
 
There are a few movies that I can suggest. Not action movies, mind you. They aren't movies I want the good people on this forum (namely the little ones) looking up, so I could PM you a nice list if you like.
It would hep to know what you're into. Some people get excited by watching movies or listening to music. Some get excited by being around others. Are you introversive or extroversive?
