Aerodactyl and Old Amber Fossil from “Pokemon Card 151!”

The last time (I think) an attack like this was viable was on Lost Thunder Dialga, which was teched on metal decks to mess up Solgaleo GX. Those specific decks usually didn't run Cosmoems at all, and getting the Stage 2s devolved and running out of Cosmogs/Candy was a problem.

While I don't think this will be a bane for Gardevoir it will definitely be an annoyance. Sure enough that a Gardevoir ex board will have backup Kirlias ready, but they usually want to evolve into something else other than the ex.

I think it will be more effective against other stage 2s that rely more on candy, e.g. Baxcalibur.

Apples and oranges. ATM Rock wasn't a Stage 1 that evolves from an Item card, devolved everyone for a single Energy instead of just the Defending Pokemon, and was only used in like two decks anyway.

This thing will never be good, even after VMAXes rotate, even in a format with Arven and Irida. It's just not worth the effort.

Convinced they made Aerodactyl Colourless instead of Rock so it can't do 400 damage with Kabutops and kill everything even with a tool because it'd be knocked out after devolving anyway
