Yes, this is Ardoptres.

First of all, why did I get a permanent ban?

There was an item lost, yes. Did I replace it? Yes. Did the user I traded with leave me positive feedback? Yes.

I still got banned.

I was also told to e-mail WPM about this. Did it, never got one back.

Did I even get a chance to defend myself? No.

DID I DO ANYTHING WRONG? No.

I was a member with 60 refs (one of the highest counts for the time being). I had never done anything wrong. Never had one incident. Then an item gets lost in the Canadian mail, which I replace, and then for some reason i loss all my credibility and get banned.

I would really like to get this resolved.

Thanks

Contact the Canadian mail service and make an official complaint.

I would like to hear both sides of a story before I form my opinion.

Lol. I wonder who told you that.

Why?

It's like a year ago, lol. The one i made the deal with, is the poster after my OP, so yeah, he seems to have no problem. (and he never did)

The problem was the huge deal you made about the whole situation. You felt that you were not in the wrong at all, and insisted that you did not have to replace said item. That was the reason you were banned. It's a lot easier for you to contact WPM and talk to him. He's the one who grants us permission to unban people. You were never given permission to come back, therefore, goodbye again.

Oh yeah, and I am one of those trade mods. I say no, and the others agree.

well it sort of is your fault cause if you didnt trust canadian mail why did you trade in the first place and replacing lost cards without a fuss is a must for a honest trader

If you don't want to get banned, then don't make huge fuss. All your doing now is digging yourself a deeper hole! If something gets lost in the mail, contact someone, and replace it immediately.

I knew that!:p

Peter is a good, honest guy and has proven to be a flawless trader on not only this site, but a multitude of others.

I think it's rather pathetic to permanantly ban him over an incident that was out of his control, and not his problem, but he chose to replace the lost cards.

Unless there's another reason as to why he was banned, I think he should be unbanned. Keeping that strike through one of this forums best traders is rather pathetic, and silly.

The problem is the way he dealt with the situation. It doesn't matter how good a trader you are, no one is above the rules.

We are reviewing the situation and if WPM and us feel that he should be unbanned, then he will be. However, we will take everyone's comments into consideration. Thank you.
