You get a +1 for that Alakazam comic. Well-played, sir.

Anyways, these are very good! The devamps are a little blocky, but I still like the Manetric one, it looks as if he's in that generic anime pupil-less mad face. And the academy artwork is simply amazing, keep it up man.

You joined Flipnote Hatena? I'll keep a eye out for it; although I haven't joined Hatena.

As for the devamps, I don't know... try shrinking them.

The pokemon paintings are nice, but I would suggest playing around with color, since in different sources of light colors can change, the pikachu doesn't always have to be yellow ya know. I liked seeing your works.

Got to say that I am impressed with all your artworks, and the Alakazam Comic has got to be one of my favorite ones up there. The only thing I would work on would be the devamps. The Garchomp piece could be scaled down to a smaller size, since it being large contributes to it being difficult to make certain parts out.

I am looking forward to seeing more artwork from you.

Are you talking about the sprites? I haven't made many, so they aren't great. As for colors, the paintings only ever look good on the 3DS since it blurs things out, making the lines look better and not as rounded.

I quit hatena long ago, I just had that on my dA so i put it here.


Thanks everyone! I have plenty of fakemon I might upload, but not so sure since i'd have to take pictures or scan them. I made a rotom devamp as well but I have no clue what happened to it.

I like the new works, and the expression of the trainer in the bottom is very mysterious, and looks cool. But his body is pretty small for his head, which looks a little funny. I would also suggest cleaning up your lines a bit, but that can be faced as a "style" sort of thing.

They're both great. I like your messy style; it shows that you're a bit of a serious artist.

I agree with HolyMackerel. The trainer's hand also seems small.

I never noticed that about the trainer. I guess I was just trying to make him fit into the picture or something. Also, i think that smooth lines in the VGC painting wouldn't let them look scary enough.

I've seen many artists use numerous lines in there art and decide not to clean it up; however, I would suggest cleaning a few areas up at least since they are not part of the design of your team members. An example would be the line located near the corner of the piece which is also visible on Garchomp.

Besides that, HolyMackerel pretty much got the problem found on the trainer.

I love that Garchomp pixel art. Garchomp is one of my favorite Pokemon, and it's cool seeing it as a Gen 2 type thing. I also think the Rotom and Neptr thing is adorbs.

Everything here is impressive, man. You seem capable of exhibiting the basics of art, so I don't think there is much to comment about it except for one. The Casshern from Sins piece, I would highly recommend lowering the opacity of the shading and highlighting tools you use (don't know if you use Photoshop or GIMP). The outright contrast looks a little hard on the eyes, if you ask me.

However, admirable work with the academy pieces and sprites! I'm looking forward to seeing more from you! :)

I'm loving the sketchiness of these. My favorite here is Scarf Cloyster.

For the devamps, I suggest you post them at the size they would appear in the games. When they're zoomed in like that, some things are hard to make out.
