Many years ago, there were five legendary Pokémon.
The name of the first was Kodai. If you described it in a simple way, it was like a massive, brown, rocky tortoise-like thing. It had broad shoulders and smooth, solid, sharp claws. It had a call similar to a loud, shaky roar, and it was the biggest of the five.
The second was Ekidai. It was like a Loch Ness Monster with a very long tail, making it look like a teal (
a shade like this pic) water dragon with fins. It had broad shoulders on its hind fins-like legs. It had a call that sounded like a roar from the ocean.
The third was Kidai. It was similar to a cloud-white giant condor, with leering, sky-blue eyes. If you saw it from the ground flying in the air, you would either mistake it as an Altaria or mistake it for a quickly moving cloud. A really big cloud. It has a call like a distant call from the sky.
The fourth was Kessai. It was definitely the smallest- in fact, it was as big as Kodai's head. It sort of looks like something hot pink with mysterious spirit-like lavender features around it. It has a shiny gold mark upon its head. It is also said to be able to disappear at will- with a quiet, explosion-like sound. It has a call like an echo from the stars.
The fifth was Nijidai. In appearance, it was like an extremely colorful dragon-like creature. It was said to be so fast, if you happened to be nearby (in a range of 70 miles) and see it zoom in any direction, it would look like an extremely fast rainbow. It has a call that sounds like a sort of cheerful roar from a dragon.
These five were creators of matter- Kodai made solids, Ekidai made liquid, Kidai made gas, Kessai made plasma, and Nijidai created the colors of the world. Thanks to these legends, we wouldn't be seeing mountains, drinking water, breathing air, seeing stars, or seeing any color at all.
The world was very grateful for their deeds. The whole world offered them a whole land for themselves in exchange- the land that it now called Alfega. These legendaries declined, saying it took no power and they didn't need it. They created the Pokémon of Alfega to prove it.
The world became angry at this and threatened to destroy the Pokémon inhabiting Alfega. The legendaries, having only one use now- to keep their elements in balance, which is most likely not going to be needed, agreed on one thing. To protect Alfega, they used the rest of their power to turn themselves into crystals and go into a deep slumber. The world, depressed by this, left Alfega in peace from then on.
It is said Kodai sleeps at the top of the tallest mountain in Alfega, with dark rubies almost as red as the mountain itself.
Ekidai sleeps at the bottom of the deepest waters in Alfega, with aquamarines as blue as the sea.
Kidai sleeps floating in the cloudiest areas of Alfega, with white diamonds as white as snow clouds.
Kessai sleeps in a place only seen in thunderstorms, with gold as gold as the stars.
Nijidai sleeps in the most colorful place of Alfega, with a mysterious substance that changes colors constantly.
It is said the five creators of matter awaken only when their element is being outbalanced.
