All 30 Pokemon “Trick or Trade” 2023 Halloween Cards!

[Water Pokémon Master]

The 2023 Pokemon TCG Trick or Trade BOOster set will feature 30 cards, just like the 2022 set. All of them are again reprints. Each card features a special Pikachu pumpkin stamp in the corner of the artwork.

Ten of the cards are holo. They feature a mix of yellow card borders and holo gray borders, since we’re currently between the Sword & Shield and Scarlet & Violet eras.

Guess they felt that line really embodies the spooky theme and had to include it. But because they last featured in Brilliant Stars which they already used in last year's Trick or Trade set, they had to dig out the ones before that in Vivid Voltage.

It could be worse. Some nice holos but not great. I would like to see a special ultra rare next year maybe 1 per bag.

Actually that is a good idea the TCG is meant for kids not some grubby adult who will scalp. (no offence to any) so having no UR means a low demand except for collectors.

But a collectible but relatively unplayable ultra rare might be nice, but that might drive up the price. You’re right!

I find it quite strange they're deciding to accept the inconsistency of the border colors across the two eras, instead of taking a promotional campaign like this as an opportunity to retroactively update older cards to the newer border. The yellow border cards readily look outdated.

I see it as a awkward growth period. Right now it feels off and before you know it we'll never see yellow border card again.

idk... alot of places where already doing the $20 price last year, before the +10% price hike...
then again, between Halloween and Christmas tends to get scalpy...
