Hiya, it's Vyolet!!
So I got a lucky break when I was young and got access to some resources I couldn't believe at the time, when I was like 13 or something. I might have been a middle school thief, but that's not what we're here for...
Anyways, this is the second deck I've made that I believe has any actual potential, and do note that I can't get access to cards that I need, so I went with what I had.

Pokémon: 8
2 Mega Kangaskhan EX FLF (Flashfire, I believe...)
1 Kangaskhan EX FLF
1 Kangaskhan FLF (Full Art)
4 Kangaskhan (Call for Family)
Energy: 22 (And don't make fun of my love for energy; I don't have enough Cilan and Professor's Letters to run only freaking, like, 12)
16 Fight energy
4 DCL
1 Rescue Energy
1 Prism Energy
Trainers: 30
4 Trainers' Mail
2 Healing Scarves
3 Mega Turbo
4 Evosoda
4 Steven
4 Pokémon Center Lady
4 Skyla
3 Cassius
2 Winona

I know most Mega Kangaskhan decks run Max Potions and Fairy Transfer Aromatisse, but I don't have any Max Potions. Hahaha...
Ideally, the first basic Pokémon is a normal Kangaskhan. Use Call for Family and get your two Kangaskhan EX. If it stays alive, get all the Kangaskhan. Most of the trainers are used to get Evosoda, which can be used on Kangaskhan EX to evolve it, but Winona can also be used to get massive amounts of Pokémon. Cassius is the main part of the deck, and can be gotten by Steven or Skyla. When a Mega Kangaskhan is about to die, use Cassius on it, and get it back by repeating the standard Kangaskhan Call for Family and all the evolution methods.
Note Wally cannot be used on a Pokémon EX. Trevor would actually be a good idea...
I know I have to get rid of the healing scarves, so help me. Thanks for your time and feedback!!

This would be classified as Expanded as Flashfire is rotated out,. Not too familiar with this deck but for energy purposes you could try out wishful baton from burning shadwos, lets you transfer up to 3# basic energies from a ko-ed pokemon to one of your other pokemon. For consistency though, youd want to run draw supporters like sycamore/N/Wicke. Good luck, sure some others can give you more insight on expanded deck for this.

I am not really keen on what is allowed and what isn't, because I don't play competitively, but I get the feeling that only the most recently minted cards are standard and still allowed due to the constant growth in strength that cards experience as new ones are minted and stuff...
You know, someone come here and explain this to me!!

But I do have a lot of draw supporters. I think I could run about twelve... Four Cheren, four Tierno and four Hau...?
Wishful Baton might not be useful since I use DCL Energy and Rescue energy (Later game...), and those aren't basic energy cards, but thanks for the feedback!! Keep in mind I haven't been into the card game recently. The gap is from Flashfire and Roaring Skies era to Guardians Rising, so only now am I beginning to make some progress.

Thankies!!

Cheren, Hau, and Tierno aren't ideal draw supporters because they only net you 3 cards. Prof. Sycamore and N are the superior draw supporters because the former gets you 7 cards even if you have to dump your hand first. Yes, the discard may suck, but the extra draw power is worth it. N is also a hand refresher in the early game and can also save you from decking out (running out of cards in your deck) when you're about to win.

The current standard format is Primal Clash onward, but the September rotation is Breakthrough onward. Just keep that in mind.

Okay, thanks!!
I'm not sure if I have any of those cards... and wont those get rotated?
And why draw cards? Wont the cards that I get through these means be superior, considering I get exactly what I need?

Sycamore's latest print was in Steam Siege. N's latest print was in Fates Collide, so they're staying.

Draw supporters help you dig into the deck for the cards you need, which is why they're staples in every deck.

You also have way too many energy in your deck; these could have gone to other trainer cards to help you or hinder your opponent. Sycamore and N can help you get them anyway. 8 basic energy + 4 double colourless should be fine here.

I see what you're saying, but I consistently always get everything I need by turn two or three. Trainers aren't useful until Cassius is used, so Energy is the best use for extra slots; it's the only thing that I consistently have just the right amount of. Plus, if i have too many draw supporters, won't I deck out?

4 Sycamore and 2-4 N are all you need as draw supporters; this isn't even much. You don't need Cheren, Tierno, and Hau.

Honestly, you don't need all that energy. That clunks up space that could've gone to better cards.

Yes, this is accurate.
Other than Draw supporters, any other comments?
Here's a staple card list that you should build this deck around:
-4 Ultra Ball (searches out your Pokemon)
-4 Vs. Seeker (to reuse supporters; when rotation hits, remove them)
-4 Sycamore (for reasons mentioned)
-3 N (for reasons mentioned)
-2 Lysandre (drags out problematic Pokemon out front to be KOed; when rotation hits, replace these with 2-4 Guzma, as he does the same thing)
-2 Field Blower (removes opposing tools and stadiums)
-2-4 Choice Band (to hit opposing EXs/GXs harder)
-1 Super Rod/Rescue Stretcher/Brock's Grit (to recycle Pokemon/energies)
-2 Tapu Lele GX (if possible; searches out supporters and is a decent attacker as well; pretty expensive though, but once you get your hands on at least one, definitely add it in.)
-1 Oranguru (optional; provides extra draw support if you're running very low on cards in your hand, especially after a late-game N or a Delinquent)

4 Steven is overkill. He takes up your supporter for the turn just for the sake of getting another supporter from the deck. 4 PC Lady is overkill as well; you can get away with only one copy if you really must run that because of Vs. Seeker (until rotation happens). Only 1-2 Skyla is necessary because of Vs. Seeker as well.

Wowies, that's a lot to keep track of!! Maybe my play style is very different than your guys'...
I actually hate Ultra Balls; they eat up my hand. Replaces with Winona, Evosoda or Call for Family. Mostly the latter of the three, but I've never had any issue with getting the right Pokémon out. I'm usually all built up by turn 5
Keep in mind I dont buy from online, so I'd have to grind out booster packs for everything. VS seeker would leave me susceptible to Trashalanche, which I am understandingg will be a shredder.
Isn't Lysandre FLF? That's been rotated out, hasn't it? Though, I do have a pretty full art one...
Field Blower seems like a good idea, but I only play against a few people and they aren't experienced, so thats probably why a lot of things are the way they are...
I'm currently grinding for some Alolan Sandslash cards, and it's left me with quite a few rescue stretchers, plus I can grab three and just use Call for Family, so that's a good idea as well...
I can't afford to buy GXs. I think if you look, you could see that I'm like 15 or something, so online purchases isn't really possible...

Also, if I wanted to face some humans IRL without worrying about rotations and stuff, where do I go?

Before rotation happens, it's better to discard supporters with Ultra Ball to get them back with Vs. Seeker later. Since this is a Mega Evolution deck, you can also discard energies to get them back with Mega Turbo. Ultra Ball also lets you precisely get Pokemon without using up the turn's supporter. Lysandre's latest print was in Ancient Origins, so he's safe until rotation hits. Even with Garbodor running around, Vs. Seeker is still important for reusing supporters. Garbodor forces you to use your items conservatively and only if you have to.

Yeah, I could see that, but as you know I'm not all too worried about rotation, considering I dont have enough resources to use only those sets. In fact, i could replace Lysandre with Base Set Gust of Wind, which I have like 12 of, hahaha.
It's actually mostly Item cards that get me what I need, along with an attack. Since my supporters serve no secondary purpose, I need not worry too much about that. I also dont have any VS seekers...
