Standard Alolan Dugtrio Deck Help

My take on a budget Alolan Dugtrio deck. Unlike other Dugtrio decks, I use Ribombee/Energy Recycle in order to find my energies. However, as of recent, I have been experiencing some problems with this deck, and would like some suggestions on how to make it better. While I am not particularly thrifty, I would like more budget-based options (please, please no Lele) in order to improve my deck. Thank you in advance!

Here’s what I’d do:
-4 Sycamore/Cynthia (1/6 of your deck is devoted to draw supporters.)
-1 Alolan Vulpix (you don’t have Brigette, but you have 8 Poké Balls.)

+2 Skyla (so Energy Recycler isn’t a hassle to find)
+3 Metal Energy (For consistency purposes.)

That’s what I think. See ya!

Mainly, problems with speed and recovery. While I believe that recovery can be patched up by simple means (such as maybe maxing out Stretcher lines or even teching in a copy or two of Brock’s Grit), speed is my number one concern. Perhaps I just need more item based draw (such as the Acro Bike reprint) in order to speed up my deck to a dangerous degree. Do you guys think that adding in more item-based draw and/or more recovery would be a good way to go? If so, what are some potentially viable options for accomplishing this goal? Maybe a niche inclusion that nobody would expect? Thanks!

If this is your problem, think about it differently. Instead of having a cycle of using, recovering to deck, and searching out again, make it search, use recover to hand. What I mean is to use Professor's Letter over energy recycler and Starmie EVO over Ribombee.
