Hey all, I'm a pretty new player to PTCG (only been playing for a little under 2 months) and I'm looking to start actually competing in some bigger tournaments. This is the list of what I have for the deck right now and I'm looking for some feedback on improvements I could make.
Please note: I'd really rather not be spending any more than $10 tops on any individual card, which is why Lele is not here.

Pokémon - 16
* 1 Sudowoodo GRI 66
* 1 Tapu Koko PR-SM SM30
* 2 Alolan Sandshrew GRI 19
* 2 Alolan Sandslash GRI 20
* 4 Alolan Vulpix GRI 21
* 2 Alolan Ninetales BUS 28
* 3 Alolan Ninetales-GX GRI 22
* 1 Tapu Fini-GX BUS 39

Trainer Cards - 30
* 4 Aqua Patch GRI 119
* 2 Bodybuilding Dumbbells BUS 113
* 1 Field Blower GRI 125
* 1 Max Elixir BKP 102
* 3 Choice Band GRI 121
* 4 Ultra Ball FAC 113

* 2 Mallow GRI 127
* 2 Professor Sycamore BKP 107
* 2 Guzma BUS 115
* 1 Skyla BKT 148
* 2 N FAC 105
* 4 Professor Kukui SUM 128

* 2 Brooklet Hill GRI 120

Energy - 14
* 10 Basic Water Energy
* 4 DCE

I've been told that I should substitute Remoraid/Octillery for the Alolan Sandshrew/Sandslash, just not sure yet if it's really necessary, this setup has given me solid draw support, and I can abuse Mallow pretty easily, especially if I manage to get both Sandslash up and running.
I know this deck isn't gonna get me to worlds or anything, I'd just like to be able to hold my own at a league cup/challenge, and (hopefully) regionals next year! I appreciate any feedback you can give :)

The list that Jay Lesage posted today could be tweaked to fit your budget.
Ill leave a list below, no one card is more than 0. (the only card that gets close is espeon ex. TCGPlayer has them for about $9)
Essentially all I did was -2 tapu lele, -1 brigette, -1 choice band // +1 remoraid, +1 octillery, +2 nest ball
Brigette is much less effective if you cant search it with lele, so i supplement with nest balls.
This left space for an extra +1/1 line of octillery to make sure your drawing.
Choice band felt like the best thing to cut.

Enjoy! :)
