So im wondering about the true rarity of alph lithograph? On here it says 3 boxes per alph lithograph somewhere else i heard 1 to 5 boxes. I think thats a bit closer cause at my prerelease i checked and i think i was the only one who got it and we must of opened up 5-7. boxes so i want to hear from the beach about the alph lithographs at your prereleases.

Questions
Did anyone get alph lithograph at your prerelease?
was there 2 alph lithograph pulled at your prerelease? If so how many boxes do you think you opened at your prerelease?
What did you also pull along with it in the other 7 packs?

if you can answer these questions it would be greatly appreciated
 
Out of the 5 boxes opened at the prerelease, only two Alph Lithographs were pulled. So, I'd say that one per three boxes sounds about right.

Another note: Only one Shining Gyarados was pulled at that same prerelease.

The Alph Lithographs are going to be used in Gengar decks, I'm sure.

And, yeah, only one. And I was the guy who pulled it. :)
 
I believe that makes it even rarer than Alph Lithograph, seeing the ratios are 1 per 3 for alph, and 1 per 5 for Gyarados. Too bad that it's a piece of junk in the format. :(
 
Well, I'll just have to get trade it off for something I can use, and get it back when the set (eventually) rotates out.

I never liked shiny Gyarados anyway. I always wanted a... SHINY MAGIKARP!!! That thing is win on so many levels.
 
i actually HAD shining magikarp like the old one but i traded it away:( anyway now my brother has the old shining gyarados -_-'. any way i basicly i have the whole set (just thought id throw that in)
 
You beat me. I couldn't pull a legend to save my life. I did, however, managed to get a 4-1 record.

Ah, but I digress... We should go back to the topic at hand.

We pulled a LOT of Shining Gyrados at my pre-release. According to our league leader, it's just as rare as a normal Holo. And seeing as we only pulled 3 Jumpluffs,1 Slowking and a few Sunflora it makes sense.

We opened over 10 boxes at our prerelease, and only got 1 Alph Lithograph.
 
Maybe it's easy to pull because it's not a secret rare?

Alph Lithograph though, not sure of. I have a pre today. I can tell you how it goes.

About 9 or 10, I'm not sure the exact number, but it was pretty high. One per box is better then hoping to get a certain holo-rare.

and wwwwwwwwoooooooowwwwwwwww that is alot of shining gyrados can you trade one?
