Will Zygarde have an alternate form?
This thread is pure speculation.Ever since the third generation, there seems to be a growing trend with legendary Pokémon, alternate forms. A Pokémon having multiple unique forms has been a recurring concept throughout the Pokémon series. After Castform and Deoxys were introduced in the third generation, many Pokémon, including legendaries, have the ability to change form.
My question to you is, do you believe Zygarde will have an alternate form?
Why am I specifically looking at Zygarde? Take a look at Giratina and Kyurem, both are the mascots of their generation's third instalments, Platinum and Black2/White2. Both of these legendary Pokémon have alternate forms, but they weren't introduced until many months after the release of their generation's main series titles. Giratina's Origin Form wasn't introduced until two years after Diamond and Pearl's Japanese release. The same goes for Kyurem's alternate Black and White forms, they weren't revealed until nearly two years after Black and White's Japanese release.
If Game Freak keeps up the tradition, Zygarde is destined to be the mascot in the next instalment. (Pokémon Z?) Seeing that the fourth and fifth generation's third instalment's mascots, Giratina and Kyurem, gained alternate forms. It's quite possible that Zygarde, (the trio master of Xerneas and Yveltal?), might gain alternate forms as well.
So who thinks Zygarde will have an alternate form, or forms?
What method(s) will give Zygarde the ability to change it's form(s)?
Will it lose or gain any addition types? (Fairy, Dark, Poison, Steel....)
What would it's alternate form(s) look like?
You can post a drawing of what you think it would look like in this thread!
This thread is pure speculation, so there are no bad ideas. Well... maybe some.
