25$ for a box without shipping is like half the price of what ebay sells the boxes for. o_O Either that's a really good deal or ebay's been ripping me off.

Ebay's been ripping you off. I haven't bought a box there since BW3.

Bah! Well actually the last time I bought Japanese boxes was BW5 which cost me 200$ shipped. Now that I see this site I will be buy 6 boxes instead of 3 since its almost half priced even with shipping factored.

I bought mostly singles off eBay and they're mostly 50-60$ for SR and UR... Although I snagged both SR Latios and Latias for only 50$. Others were selling them 40-50$. Individually. So that's like 80-100$ for both.

The only problem with AmiAmi is that for older sets you cannot guarantee 1st ED.

If you are looking for anything prior to BW7 - You may want to consider eBay (if you care about 1st ED cards).

Collectors Cache has older 1st edition boxes, but be prepared to pay through the nose and maybe other body orifices. You could always buy sets or near sets.

I have never cared about 1st. Ed and eBay unlimited boxes are like the same price as 1st :/ so this is great for me.

I got some plasma gale from them a couple weeks back. It was unlimited.

So to conclude this topic like I said I would.

Firstly, I aired out the box and kept all the items away from each other. I narrowed it down and the culprit was the Spiral Force/Thunder Knuckle campaign pack. It still had the odor on it when it was sealed, the serperior smelt terrible, as well did the packs and cards. Makes no sense to me as I thought once I opened it the smell would be gone, but it intensified.

I opened the wakuwaku box and got some other spiral force cards in and they did not have the odor.

In conclusion, it must have been a bad print or something, to be completely honest I'm still pretty baffled.

Haha, I doubt you will get the same smell, it seems to be a bad print run or something in my opinion - I'm fairly confident it is a one time thing (at least I hope it is).

I managed to order 2 boxes. I didnt need to go crazy since I bought all the shinies and SR I needed. A lot were only 25$! I bought boxes just for the holos and EX and the potential SR and UR but I doubt I'd get the one I need.

I wanted some older boxes cause they were so cheap but they are sold out... They even had the Reshiram/Zekrom EX Promo with 8 packs for only 15$ and Pokevault sells them for 28$. =_=

I wish I could go to Japan to do some shopping! I'm sure even Yahoo Japan sells boxes for less than 50$. Damn ebay.

Yeah, AmiAmi tends to sell out quickly and they very rarely restock. The prices are very good, but you have to snap them up quickly. I'd even go so far as to say you're better off pre-ordering for anything you want.

Hello again,

I was wondering if anybody knows if 2 Booster Boxes can be shipped as Sal unregistered packet from AmiAmi or if it goes over the 2kg limit? Their response time has been dreadful so maybe someone here like Omahanime knows.

I have never used SAL unregistered. I think there is a couple of dollars difference in price between unregistered and registered.

If they are not replying, that means they still have not secured your boxes.
