So I saw this card while browsing the newest card scans and I think it has more potential then Vinilluxe seeing as it does basically the same thing.

Amoonguss - Grass - HP90
Stage 1 - Evolves from Foongus

[G] Toxic: The Defending Pokemon is now Poisoned. Place 2 damage counters for Poison between turns.
[C][C] Body Slam: 30 damage. Flip a coin, if heads the Defending Pokemon is now Paralyzed.

Weakness: Fire (x2)
Resistance: Water (-20)
Retreat: 2

Pair this with UD Vilplume and Fliptini and you have a faster lock deck.

Victini – Fire – HP60
Basic Pokemon

Ability: Victory Star
You can use this when your Pokemon flip coins as part of an attack. Ignore all results of those coin flips and reflip from the beginning. You can't use Victory Star more than 1 time during your turn even if you have multiple Victini in play.

[R][C] Assist Power: 30 damage. Move all Energy attached to this Pokemon to 1 of your Benched Pokemon.

Weakness: Water (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 1

so what do you think I still think this is much faster and better then Vinelluxe and was just overlooked but can be a great deck.

Thoughts?

Vanilluxe needs 2 coins to both be tails for no paralysis.

This needs 1.

Vanilluxe has a much higher chance of paralyzing; it's still better. Plus, you're more likely to do more damage.

"Plus, you're more likely to do more damage."

That's exactly the point AGAINST a lock. You DON'T want to be doing too much damage so you can actually LOCK them.

Amoonguss is nice, and it will be faster than Vanilluxe, but it will not lock well. I suppose as a rogue option is not bad, but otherwise it's best to find something else.

He's still doing damage with Body Slam >_>

Vanilluxe would probably be a better choice

"Just set up wise this would be faster" Are you guys forgetting mew prime? :D I would run that and throw vanilluxe into lost zone and start being annoying to opponent.

agree'd there.

4 mew prime
1-2 vanilluxe
1-2 victini
1-2 vileplume
+
evolite just in case you get double tails so mew can take a hit

=
very very very powerful/FAST lock deck.... sometime next year.... so lets just play with what we got for now and enjoy the lock-free meta ;)

Bring in another Mew! With it being a basic you can abuse revive and collector to spam them at your opponent. The idea would be to get ahead on prizes to due setting up the lock turn 2 so you stay ahead on prizes the whole game, although you could bring in a powerful late-game attacker to guarentee that you take the last couple prizes.

I suppose.
I would play, say, 1-1 Gyarados HS and 1-1 Donphan Prime as late-game tanks to take 2 prizes with. Or maybe some Legend (SEL?) that uses water energy to attack.

The more simple you can make a deck the smoother it will run I wouldn't put these guys in no point.

Yeah, but once you KO their active, you just get revenge KO'd. What do you do then...?

your basically counting on the trainer lock to make them slower when they try to recover.

sounds like we just made a new deck for next format BDIF?

Not sure why you would use mew because it would still have to attach 2 energy to use vanilluxe's attack. Stick with vanilluxe so that it lasts longer. You have no time to attach 2 energy to every single mew. People will run more switch just for decks like these.

^Which is why you play Vileplume.

I was just thinking about having a tank for the purposes of late-game. If you can get it set up in the extra turns you have, you might as well grab 1 or 2 prizes with it at the end.

The Reason Mew is still a good choice is because they are not going to be able to attack you often since they are paralyzed so mew works fine and will make the deck much faster.

Whynaut Roserade? You can use here Poke-Power to poison your opponent's active Pokemon, that it faints at the end of his turn. Also, don't forget that there's always a probability that you'll flip 4 tails, I wouldn't rely to much on the Paralyzing lock, add some Weavile and Judge, too.

Roserade could work very well, I'd just be worried about how often you'd be able to time it so that you get the KO after your opponent's turn. I think with some well-timed PlusPowers, though, it could work. Weavile and Judge are probably a good idea, though.
