Oh hey ya'll. So I'm going to States on Saturday and I'm bringing along mainly a for funsies list for general shenanigans. However, it sets up very well and works as well as it can. Obviously it's not tier 1 or 1.5, but it doesn't roll over and die unless I get a VERY bum hand.

Enough with my ramblings, here be the deck I will be playing.

4-3 Amoongus (NX-8/9)
1 Virizion (NV-13)
2 Pichu (HS-28)
1 Cleffa (HS-17)
4 Eevee (UD-48)
3 Leafeon (UD-17)
2 Espeon Prime (UD-81)

4 Pokemon Communication (BW-33)
2 N (NV-92)
4 Professor Oak's New Theory (HS-101)
3 Professor Juniper (BW-101)
3 Super Rod (NV-95)
4 Level Ball (NX-89)
2 Sage's Training (UD-77)
1 Twins (TM-89)
3 Seeker (TM-88)
4 Super Scoop Up (BW-103)

4 Rescue Energy (TM-90)
6 Grass Energy

Obviously, I want to cut 1 Pichu for 1 more Amoongus, maybe, but other than that I dunno what to get. Junk Arm in place of Twins I can understand, and catcher, but I'm working with a very limited budget. Any other suggestions for maybe single card techs? Mainly T/S/S choices, but perhaps I need some Pokemon line work.

Well, 3 super rod is far too many, try 1 or 2. You might want to add another Espeon to get Mewtwos.
-1 Super Rod
+1 Espeon Prime
Otherwise looks good.

I really like this style of a deck. I playtested out the deck with a few modifications and came up with this. I understand you said you are on a budget, but I think this deck has some great possibilities.

Pokemon - 21
4-3 Amoongus (ND8, ND9)
3 Virizion (NV13)
1 Cleffa (HS17)
4 Eevee (UD48)
3 Leafeon (UD17)
2 Espeon Prime (UD81)
1 Shaymin EX (ND5)

TSS - 27
3 Level Ball
2 N
3 Pokemon Catcher
3 Pokemon Collector
3 Pokemon Communication
4 Professor Oak's New Theory
2 Seeker
1 Skyarrow Bridge
2 Super Rod
3 Super Scoop Up
1 Twins

Energy - 12
8 Grass Energy
4 Rescue Energy

I took out the Sages Training cause in a deck like this, you want to make each card count. The Shaymin EX is for backup in case your opponent has Pokemon with 150 or less hp and your opponent needs 1 more prize card; it is somewhat of a last ditch effort though. Shaymin can also be used to get energy to your bench fast. The catchers are in there for stall and easy KOs. Skyarrow is in there for free switching, however it could help your opponent; the choice is yours to use it or not. A few more energy to help with the hard choice of what to attach to. I liked the Pichu idea, but I found Pokemon Collector to be easier to use and it won't give your opponent an easy prize. I hope what I have said helps you out.

Maybe no pichu. They also help the opponent. I'd also run something else that further inflicts conditions on the opponent to do more damage. Try junk arm too. I'd cut some communication/level ball for 4 collector to get out your basics instead of pichu.
