and yet another ho-oh ex deck

Actually I posted this list cause in someone else's thread u were confused that I commented that I ran only four supporter. Then I thought "while I'm at it, lets check others' opinions".

Once again, how can a trainer be reused with the ability of ho-oh? I don't believe u r reading this question wrong.

Spiritomb, what he (Or she I don't want to make any embarrassing mistakes because of a silly thing like that lol) is trying to say is the following scenario:

So you have a Ho-oh on your field which just had been hitted by a Dragonblast for 140 DMG, so now your Ho-oh only has 20 HP left! You opponent only needs to take 2 more prizes, and you can see his Darkrai on the bench just waiting for you to retreat so that it may KO your Ho-oh while it is benched. You have a Juniper and a Super scoop up in your hand. You then play the SSU, you get heads, you then pick up your active Ho-oh with only 20 hp left, then you play your Juniper to get Ho-oh and all the energies back into your discard pile so that it is not ready to comeback when you need it.

Mora never meant to reuse the SSU but to reuse the Ho-oh, without it ever getting KO'ed.

And you got others' opinions. So good bye.

I commend you for using ambiguous gender :p and yes, that's exactly what I meant.

Thank you. That was very helpful.

No problem.

Also I would remove a Enhanced Hammer for a Computer Search. It helps you by finding the specific card you need, AND it discards 2 cards. Seems a must for me in a Ho-oh deck.

Why the Rufflet? Don't you want Ho-oh in the discard?

Rufflet lets you put Ho-oh into your hand, letting you discard it the turn afterward. I disagree with it's use as this deck would much rather have a Mewtwo EX attacking turn 1, but I've already given my full analysis of this deck so there's not much of a point in me pressing to remove it.

You said in the beginning that you didnt want tornadus EX because of skyarrow. With aspertia you may reconsider using it simply because, well to be brutally honest, Ho-oh lacks the power your going to want later in the game. Rayquaza isnt a good card late game simply because of its low hp. And also you need something to better search out cards and such and i know you dont want supporters so maybe a roserade line or even a DRE milotic line might help. I just really think your going to struggle getting what you need alot of the time. I know milotic and roserade arent really good cards for the deck, but your not willing to use the better option so thats my two cents

And as I said, mewtwo ex is in another deck.

That or use proxies. That's what I do when I get an idea and know that by the time I get around to trading for everything I need, I'll lose interest, and it really wasn't a good idea in the first place, so I'm left with a bunch of crap I can't get rid of and have to sell it on eBay and wait six months for someone stupid enough to buy it to buy it... that was oddly specific...

Ill test out aspertia gym but unfortunately one of my tornadus ex cards made in to that other deck.(maybe I should just post the other deck.)
Also I don't see though how one tornadus ex is going to save my late game, even with an aspertia gym.
At this time I run rufflet, which can slow my deck down, so milotic(especially being a stage 1) will be a waste of a vital attack in this deck.

Tornadus EX becomes a difficult card to knock out Aspertia. With its synergy with its first attack it makes it a no brainer. Running aspertia essentially means you either have to run a high count or skyla. My main suggestion to you man is to use proxies for testing. For example I have my main deck and then i have my second deck which is over 50 percent proxies. If i decide to use my second deck over my first in a tournament then I just switch the cards over. Tournaments are the only place you are required to use actual cards so I would highly reccomend using proxies as it will open up a large amount of options to test with. And if rufflet can slow your deck down. why use it? I tend to take out cards that hurt my consistency for far less rewards but with your stand on supporters I guess it is your next best option. Im not going to try and convince you to use them in general, but I will urge you to take a look at skyla. I find it extemely useful. IMO being able to search for the trainer I need with no reprecussion is invaluable. If it doesnt work with your playstyle or build then don't use it, but I really would urge you to try it out and see if it helps any. I know your stand on supporters and im not here to tell you you need more draw support, but skyla is a lot different.

I never said draw supporters. I said all supporters in this deck. So Skyla is out.

Also are you implying slower decks do not have room in this game. Until I acquire a boat load of tornadus ex; rufflet and rayquaza will stay (better ideas pending).

Skyla for Computer Search for Ultra Ball and what do you even need T1 Juniper for..? Just a thought.

Yes I am implying that generally, without healing capabilities, slower decks will have a tougher time in this format. Anything you can do to make a deck faster and more consistent, will usually help out a lot. Ho-oh works well for energy acceleration paired with the right trainer engine to support it. I think thats what a lot of people on here are trying to tell you. Iv'e given you my two cents, best of luck!

Allow me to clarify:

Skyla for Computer Search, discarding two energies. Get out Ultra Ball and use it to discard Ho-Oh and another energy. Ho-Oh = set up. Juniper would have gotten you the same result.

Conclusion: Skyla doesn't take away from your ability to get T1 Ho-Oh, and Skyla is certainly useful after you've gotten Ho-Oh set up.
