Android or Apple?

Android.

The only thing I like that Apple has and Android doesnt, is the sleeker lighter build they tend to have, and the fact that they always get things first. Android always gets the shaft of the deal. iPhone always seems to come first for everything, while Android users have to wait for something to be available to them. There are a lot of apps I like too that are only available to Apple, while either unavailable or a cheap knockoff for Android. (Like Tiny Wings-- Androids lame equivalent is Dragon Fly)

But other than that, it isnt a huge deal. Android still gets flash so nyah.

Neither my phone is for emergency purposes only. Because #yolo. (also can't use internet and my phone doesn't have apps downloadable) If I could get one definately the android though.

This thread now seems less "Android vs Apple" and more "Android Discussion Thread."

@Zielo...gotta disagree on the Tiny Wings/Dragon Fly debate. I always preferred Dragon Fly on my old EVO4G than the iPhone equivalent.

Android 4.4 and the Nexus 5 are supposed to be announced sometime around the end of October. There are too many rumors to actually make a sound judgement on the actual release date.

but just look at this press image with Telus branding

That is the most beautiful device I've ever seen. Ever. Like, ever. Ever.

I am really excited about Kit Kat, though! What do you all expect in Android 4.4?

The redesigned UI has obviously been leaked, so the holo UI is gone. It looks great though, so not much to worry over on that front.
A bunch of app redesigns, possible optimization for lower-end devices, a new kernel designed to lower RAM consumption, QuickOffice integration, mobile payment integration, etc.

I love it, as well. My favorite point has to be the low opacity of the app folder button and the actual app folders. This is going to be better than iOS7, for sure. And QuickOffice integration would be icing on the cake for school. <3

Google made a great decision buying QuickOffice.
The one thing I don't like about the UI is that they got rid of the widgets drawer so widgets will probably have to be placed via long-press on the home screen. The good still outweighs the bad by far.

Well I have Android, I have never owned an Apple Product and hopefully never will. I don't like the company itself, so that's a big turn off. All I hear is how rubbish their iPhones are. They are so overrated and expensive. I don't like big phones, but I have a good size phone that's sleek and white.

I have a HTC Desire C in White, I got it the day it came out just over a year ago.

Actually, I welcome the change. It seems a lot easier, at least for me, to just scroll through a list of widgets, as opposed to scrolling through multiple screens of widgets, wasting time, attempting to find one widget.

WTF is with all of those horrid logos? ...And those home screen icons...Are they going to be on the final product, or are they just watermarks?

It's a joke. All three are photoshopped. It's making fun of the horrible atrocities Verizon commits in regards to aesthetic value in their logos, particularly the Galaxy Note 2.
