Blog Angry Birds and Stealthy Ninjas – An Overview of the Top Decks for State Championships

I really like how you've listed the more top tier decks - for someone like myself that doesn't have access to a tournament to determine meta, articles like this are really helpful for me. ^_^

It's also funny to see how the ONE tournament placement of Greninja brought its price to a whopping 10 dollars (it then declined to 7.50)
Meanwhile, the many Trevenant BREAK tournament placements only gradually brought it's price to 7 dollars (although the XY Trevenant price did explode...)

Oh and thank you for actually taking the time to write an article!
I was really scared that there would only be one entry for the entire month. I'd feel so guilty if TCGplayer awarded a 1-man contest with an 80 dollar prize. :p

From my standpoint as Feburary's winner, this entire contest is sooo worth it. The booster box prize greatly outweighs the effort it takes to write something like this.

It doesn't take a World Champion to write these articles either, folks.

I tested out a variant of the YZG deck above, but consistently missed on the Max Elixir, and I don't think that deck benefits from it. With only 7 basic energy, plus the need to discard Dark energy for Yveltal XY, and likely need to discard energy for Sycamore/Ultra Ball/Battle Compressor, I recommend replacing the Max Elixir.

@dbussert . I definitely agree partially with you, in terms of the amount of Energy required (I kinda wish I could add more), yet the idea behind Elixir is to use it before you go nuts with other Items. So, according to that, I guess you could decide to cut Elixir in favor of Puzzle of Time or something else, yet the deck will not have the speed it needs to pressure your opponent.

@bbninjas @TheUltimateAbsol Thanks fam. Really appreciate the credit. I also thought it was quite ironic when people though trevenant was gone, and one tournament later it's back in the meta.
