In case it isn't obvious, we have been reorganizing the forums over the past several days and will continue to do so over the next week as ongoing staff discussions take place about what we need to do to improve them. Please bear with us until then. When we're done we'll announce all of the changes and bring all members up to speed. I apologize for not making the announcement earlier. Have a Happy New Year!

I would like to see the return of trade threads rather than one big thread. Sure we might not have a lot of members there but managing our own threads are much easier. Just make the forum so post don't count toward our post count. It was easier for me to manage my thread rather than the way it is now. I hope we can have that back and I hope we can have an event list here rather than going to another site for the event lists. Thanks XD.:) That is what I would like to see the most.:)

Yeah, trade threads are definitely up. I think Shining Raikou said something about them.
Anyway, I wait for the changes!

Deck Advice & Improvement now requires you to use a thread prefix. Please select the most appropriate one for your deck. If you aren't sure which prefix to use, ask a moderator.

When are the trade threads coming back? Thanks XD.:)

The new name for the Writer's Corner is fine...provided you drop the "Le" at the front. The "Le" there kinda looks incoherent when it's right next to the English word "Writing". Honestly, "Writing Café", no Le involved, sounds great.

And that's the only real complaint I've had so far. Well, aside from stickies coming and going. That's just weird. But other than that...it's all fine.

I hate the "Le," too. It just sounds unprofessional.

Updated it. I can kind of see why the "Le" is frowned upon. The rest of it stays though.

Yeah, that's understandable. "Writing Café" is a legitimately good name; it was just the "Le" that I (and a few others) had issue with.

And now I wait for the rest of the changes to take effect.

okay yeah, that's much better. I'm not sure why the "le" was there in the first place.

also I'm not sure how /=/ means "not equal"??? we have != and =/= for that, WPM

Discuss popular TV shows and animé (My Little Pony, CSI, Game of Thrones, Fullmetal Alchemist), movies, (Skyfall, Wreck-It Ralph, Rise of the Guardians, Evangelion 3.33), Internet media (YouTube, viral videos, Gangnam Style), sports (NFL, Super Bowl, baseball seasons, soccer matches), music (Lady Gaga, Owl City, Coldplay, Fun, Justin Bieber), and anything else you watch or listen to.
...do people browsing these forums really need to be given examples of media to discuss?

I found the elaborate forum explainations a bit appalling as well.

It also may be inconvenient to update the descriptions since they are very much specific to the time.

Or maybe SR just wanted us to know how much he loves Justin bieber :p

Guys the reason board staff does this is so everyone old and new members will know what the forum is for. This is to help eliminate posting in the wrong thread(s) If you don't like it don't post on that forum post somewhere else. It is simple as that use common sense. Don't mean to sound rude but as a long time member of nearly 7 years it is about time you guys give the more credit that it is worth. The forum arrangements are still in the works. As they do their updates they will fix things as they come. Accept the progress or find another forum. Mods don't warn me or anything but the whining needs to stop.

It is about time everyone shows more respect rather than making statements about a small part of the forum. We are here to have fun. If you don't like it tough. Get used to it. Shape up. Would you do this around your teachers and everyone else you know? If you don't then show more respect you are better than that. Live life have fun and zip it.:(:)

I don't find the forum descriptions appalling at all. A few extra lines on your page is no big deal, and clearly they are needed because some people still don't understand what goes where. Why shouldn't a forum description be descriptive?

Because it gives examples of what movies and such are. It doesn't need to. Do people really need to be told that Wreck-It Ralph is a movie?

While I do understand your point, I must respectfully disagree. We do not mean to take jabs at the staff, nor do we feel that we must keep silent at everything. If we feel like something could improve, we say so.

Although the new descriptions for the Entertainment sections are indeed quite detailed, they do come off as a bit long-winded - not bad, just long-winded. It can be fixed by citing a few less examples (like say 1 less per category), or describing them in a slightly different way (I can't think of an example off the top of my head right now). There is such a thing as being too wordy, but fortunately it's easily fixable. On a side note, there shouldn't be a comma after "movies".

And...when I say 'we' (as I did at post's beginning), I mean myself and those like me who want to improve Beach in what small ways we can. I see some small things (like forum descriptions) that could be done better and so I draw attention to them, but I mean no disrespect, nor will I ever.
Most of these changes I do like, but I love to make things better than they are. Just my 2 cents.

I don't see a problem at all XD. I like it the way it is.:)

We have decided to bring back Pokemon Trading in full swing. There is now a whole subforum for it like there once was long ago. We wish you happy trading.
