Hello to all PokeBeach readers! It’s Gabriel Semedo again with another Pokémon TCG article, and this time I’m bringing you yet another deck focused on beating Mew VMAX: a straight Gengar VMAX build with Path to the Peak.
The more time passes, the more we learn about Mew VMAX’s absurd strengths, and the more we understand that beating this deck takes more effort than we thought. Umbreon VMAX as a tech in Single Strike Urshifu VMAX builds seemed like a good way to beat it, but now it’s clear that you need a lot more to get a truly good matchup...

Not straight Gengar vmax is a thing, actually. It plays umbreon vmax. But that build is outdated nowadays.

I find it hard to deal damage huge enough to KO Pokémon VMAXes due to the lack of Gengar VMAX. For the most part, I always get murked by RS/SS Urshifu VMAX decks.

Even with 4 ss energies you only do 270 maybe karen could work?
