Ok so this is a new deck I have posted in a while. This is a deck for the upcoming battleroads.
I came up with this deck with the idea being to have a counter to most/ all of the top tier decks. Not really got chance to test it loads as the tournament is on sat. So I may as well get on with the decklist!

The list.

2 reshiram
2-2 zoroark(foul play)
3-1-2 emboar (ability)
2-1-2 kingdra prime
1-1 rayquaza & deoxys legend
1-1 lanturn prime

1 proffessor oak's new theory
2 fisherman
2 interviewers questions
1 energy exchanger
3 rare candy
3 pokemon communication
3 proffessor juniper
1 max potion
2 pokemon collector
1 energy retieval
1 flower shop lady
2 dual ball
1 junk arm
1 twins
1 professor elms training method

2 special dark energy
2 rainbow energy
8 fire energy
2 rescue energy

Card breackdown

RESHIRAM- 1 of my main attackers pretty self explanatory; quick set up with emboar, decent attacks and can 1/2 shot most pokemon. Overall a great card.
ZOROARK- great tech in most decks and giving me ways to knock out most pokemon and is ready to, with emboar KO magnezone. Not great against donphan with that weekness but other than that a great stage 1.
EMBOAR- the main engine and will help out most of my pokemon to do damage. Alright as an attacker so can stand against most pokemon and is a decent wall.
KINGDRA PRIME- this works as half of the donphan murder squad. Great power as an additional pokepower and can be very useful.
RAYQUAZA & DEOXYS LEGEND- this is great against one perticular card known as gothitelle as well as other cards with a great pokebody and a pretty decent attack and even with the energy requirements as I can get them back.
LANTURN- a decent attacker good with emboar, not quite as good as kingdra in terms of donphan hut it does give me coverage against yanmega. Also can sub in as an attacker against fire.

The idea
Discover the opponent's deck and work against it whereas if it is a 'noob' kindof deck set up one of the attackers (reshiram, legend or lanturn) and attack.

Please can people give me thier oppinions

EDIT. changed some of the lines.

Tons of stage 2 = 4 Rare candy

Emboar = 3 tepigs

Collectors should be maxed.

I'm not in the complete thinking state to point out everything wrong with the deck but it misses on a lot because of the sheer number of lines you have which will give you consistency problems.

Will try 4 candys and 1 more tepig but what should I take out? probably can't get 2 more collectors maybe 1 but what to take out? Oh and what other problems?!?! Forgot to mention in first post. I have/ can't get any catchers.

I actually missed the fact that you didn't have catcher which is a big thing this meta. Only Vileplume decks can go without catcher and be a boss.

This would defenitely work better with out the Kingdra Prime line. Reshiram/Emboar based decks don't need it because of the amount of options that you have to deal damage. Kingdra Prime was meant to counter Gothitelle for Reshiram/Typhlosion users because their damage is more limited. As for Reshiram/Emboar decks. A heavier supporter draw line would also be good. Most decks right now are having consistency problems and having four draw supporters is really bad. As a comparison, most of my decks average from 8-11 draw supporters depending on how they run.

Please could you be slightly more specific! Will try the changes. Is the deck in general alright and its just these changes that will be nessicary. How would the deck with these changes you have suggested fair against the popular decks at the tournament/top tier decks.

Well, that's pretty tough since I usually use standard lists maximizing consistency and lessening tricks. All the suggestions I made are the basic consistency boosters that help with your deck setting up what you need.

Any deck should most likely have this as a backbone.

-4 Collector
-4 Communication
-2/4 Catcher
- At least 7-11 Draw Supporters (PONT, Juniper, Cheren, Copycat, Judge)
-3/4 Rare Candy (if playing a Stage 2 deck)

Those cards ensure consistency and a good setup. Anything less would give you a harder time setting up. This does vary from deck to deck like how ZPTS doesn't need Communication but that's definitely the core for a good deck.

My principle has always been to first edit a deck from a consistency standpoint before moving on to techs/trick cards and for now your deck lacks consistency.

Honestly I'd drop RDL and Kingdra. Reshiram has a pretty good matchup against donphan in of itself. Instead I'd replace it with an additional 2-1-2 Emboar line, with the two Emboars being Badboar. This gives you a heavy hitter just like RDL, but without the threat of losing two prize cards if it gets catchered up. Not needing lightning energy for the attack is also kinda nice. I'd also drop IQ. Then add four PONT.

-2-1-2 Kingdra
-1-1 RDL
-2 IQ
-1 Exchanger
-2-2 Zoroark
-1 Max Potion (I like the idea, but I had to get rid of something for the last slot)

+1-1-1 Badboar
+3 PONT
+1 Reshiram
+2 Pokemon Collector
+1 Junk Arm
+2 Switch
+3 Pokemon Catcher

I like some of your ideas but my original concept for this deck is not a reshiboar but more rouge. That's why the deck was made and all you have suggested is making it into a reshiboar.

^ Thanks for putting the exact changes lol. I was trying to change the stuff in his deck without trying to ruin his original intentions as because it would look like any other cookie-cutter Reshiboar while it sounds good, the player might not enjoy it as much from his personal standpoint but if he just wants to win then by all means, your advice is good already.

EDIT: Ninja'd

ReshiBoar + 2-2 Zoroark does sound decent in theory tbh but it needs testing as well. RDL has been proven to play nice in anything with Emboar as well.

Your better off with Zekrom instead of Lanturn for Yanmega. Zekrom is basic, and you dont need to risk as many energies being trashed.

I did think about zekrom but I decided against it as the energy requirements are a little more specific and the self harm is quite bad. I could try that if you think that's better. Sorry about no thanks for exact changes... One idea I did have is to swap kingdra for vileplume as it might be slightly more disruptive. I went for kingdra as I thought the additional damage would be more useful than a trainer lock as it can be damaging to myself. The idea of RDL over badboar was that it wasn't another stage two leading to the deck failing to function quickly with either kingdra or vileplume. I thought zoroark was a good tech particularly against magnezone as it can use emboar to maximize on the damage that magnezones attack. BTW I didn't put a starter as I know it would slow down the deck.
