Pokemon Arceus or Mew

Well, let's see...
Arceus was definitely born at the very beginning, "at the heart of chaos, where all things became one, [there] appeared an Egg. Having tumbled from the vortex, the Egg gave rise to the Original One [(Arceus)]."
From itself, Arceus made Dialga and Palkia, which made time flow and space expand. Then it made the Lake Trio. Then "the two beings wished, and from them, matter came to be. The three living things wished, and from them, spirit came to be."
After this, Arceus went to sleep. This is where speculation begins.
Now, perhaps the idea of Mew was made before Satoshi Tajiri thought up the idea of Arceus, so there may be faults there. However, I'd think he'd have this all planned out beforehand, so maybe he wants there to be that ounce of confusion - it makes for great discussion. Perhaps he's leaving it up to the fans to decide for themselves.
In the end... FACT: No Pokédex entry states that Mew IS the ancestor of all Pokémon, just that "...some people began research to see if it is the ancestor of all Pokémon" (Crystal entry) and "...many scientists believe Mew to be the ancestor of Pokémon" (D/P entry). Legends state Arceus was born before the universe existed, and that it created Time, Space, Emotion, Willpower, and Knowledge (and, oddly, "it is described... as the Pokémon that shaped the universe with its 1,000 arms" [Diamond Entry]. This may be explained in Movie #12, though.)

Very nice, personally I believe your right. Mew has everything's DNA except Mewtwo's, Ditto's (Ditto was a failed baby of Kirby and Mew 
), and the Porygons.
As for Arceus he started everything with Dialga, Palkia, and the Trio following. (I believe Giritina came into existence with the Universe.) The Arceus we all know is the partially awakened one then later they'll show another form with 1000 arms like the Diamond entry says (along with Dialga and Palkia possibly.)
In the end it's Pokemon mythology which will probably never make 100% sense.

It is also not stated that Arceus ever made Giratina when it made Dialga ands Palkia, but it most certainly fits into their Duo to make a Trio, so this may be explained further in Movie #12. It's also never been said that "Arceus told every Pokémon to come together to make an 'ancestor' of every Pokémon".

This is how it actually happened
Arceus was first created by some random lego pieces. Arceus was then sent to Earth because Legoland was fully occupied. It got very bored alone in Earth so it made Dialga and Palkia out of lego(with the help of a simple 2400 pages manual sent by Legoland). Arceus was happy at first but then it found out that it made Palkia person (it walks on 2 legs.....which is very strange to him) so he combined them into a ball of legos and sent it to Legoland to be reconsructed into 3 different beings by R2-D2....thus,creating Azelf, Mesprit, and Uxie.
Unfortunately, they all shared Palkia's person DNA and had deformed heads.Arceus got pissed and
decided that it should make a friend without Legoland's help. Using another ball of legos(dismantling the 3 Pixies/Elves/KoalaBears whatever they are called) Arceus tried to make another version of itself,a cooler, stronger and sexier version......but it ended up as a frickin' bird(Ho-oh). Frustrated, it tried once more with more patience and endurance and it became a Bidoof(lol).
Arceus was so angry he called Darth Vader to fire the DeathStar laser on Legoland. After Legoland's destruction, he abandoned the use of legos and made Mew out of plasticine. After Mew's success, Mew decided to make more pokemon out of plasticine like Lugia, Manaphy, and Elton John.
In conclusion....
