Arceus: Yes or No?

Is this set good enough to buy a box?

I am trying to decide if i should buy a box of this or wait for the Legend to come. Mods if this shouldnt be here just lock it.
 
If I were you I'd just buy the cards indivisually. As with SV, there are junk rares, and a few good cards. Going to a prerelease or too is good, but unless you plan to play an arceus deck, I wouldn't buy a box.

Richkid: Ya, the X's are good, but they aren't going to be too expensive. There's a low chance of getting the X you want, so it's safer to just buy/trade for it seperately.
 
Okay thanks the only thing i can think of that is good in this set is the X's and maybe those arent even good.
 
Some of the Xs are good but there are 3 arceus Xs, so its sort of bad cuz youll pull some of them
 
I don't think think you need a yes/no/wait for HG/SS if i vote no,doesn't that say wait for HG/SS anyway.LOL.
AoA will not be that great of a set
 
some of the lv x's are pretty good and there's some decent cards here and there in the set but not sure if it's enough reason to buy a box of it. I'm still on the fence about this myself. I might end up at the very most be buying a box but that would be it I think.

If you're tight on cash I'd say waiting for LEGEND is good imo.

Goliath: Um i didnt understaand any of that but okay.

Moon: My TO sells them for $80 a box. And in order to do that i have to work 11 hours remodeling my house in the next week. But the only X's that i think are good are Salamence and Gengar.
 
^ Yeah they're the best X's in the set, but on the subject, i think it would be better to buy the cards individually too, becouse you have a 100% chance of getting them that way. If you want a box though, then i would definately wait for HG/SS, it looks like a really good set for buying boxes, depending on how rare the "great" cards are.

Arceus has many Arceus cards which is good. HGSS Collection has LEGEND and Great cards.
 
Well if you think about it arceus only has 99 cards in the series so you have more of a chance of getting what you want and there is not terrible Lv.x in the set I mean yeah the arceus ones are the worst but other than that.

well, if you enjoy waiting for spring, then go for HG/SS if you play in tourneys, then go for Arceus.
 
Arceus has 99 cards add 9 Arceus add 3 SH's = 111 cards.

Meanwhile, HGSS has 151 cards so Arceus is better as the cards will be easier to get.

But English set joined together - 151.

Arceus you might as well get the theme decks because the theme decks have ultra rare cards. Arceus has mixed set numbers like all Platinum sets.
 
Yes i am talking about the English version. this thread is mainly for if i should wait for the english version of HGSS or buy a ton of Arceus which may be happening anyway as they are a few months apart.
