Do you think there should be an Archetype Section?

Helping to prevent netdecking?  Sorry, but I don't see it here.  If anything, it would condense the 40 odd Metanite/Delta/Flygon threads that last a day or so in the deck help section into one area.  I use the other site's archtype section more for a starting point and a strategy review rather than a netdecking reason, but that might just be me.  The point of it is that people use archtypes, having somewhere here to formulate ideas about those decks, how to evolve them, how to counter them, how to cover their weaknesses and exploit there strengths is what an archtype section would be for.  
As for what decks deserve an archtype section, that would ovbiously be up to the Moderators of the forums (who should have a good understanding of what the current archtypes are at least a little bit).  I think it would help the site by keeping people here rather than switching from one site to another.

I am perfectly able to say that without lying. (and everyone who doesn't play a TCG, not everyone in the world plays pokémon...)

Anyhow, Archetypes are decks, decks belong in the deck Garage, why divide decks like that. Some Rogues become archetypes , and some archetypes disappear, having to choose which deck is and which deck isn't an archetype is near impossible, and it would involve way too many moving.

and I can guarantee that you have netdecked....you may no thave copied the deck and made it yourself but I know that you used it to find weakness's of the decks...so dont give that B.S. that you havent netdecked in some form...The best players in the world netdeck....if people don't netdeck then how in the hell will there be a metagame????
So don't come on here saying you haven't netdecked because you know your lying.

But hey if you dont want to help the people out on this site then it is ok...just be inferior to all the other sites....and yes I mean that!!!!!!
 
so what you say is that you find Netdecking only looking at deck list and use it some 0,00000001% for yourself? It is all about What's Netdecking. I think most People find Netdeckng hat You copy a whle List and Use it, atleast i do (this does not include f someone help your Decklist by making a New Decklist, or atleaats, for me)

Well Pokegym has one so why shouldnt Pokebeach? It would be better for the noobs.
But IMO, i dont really care as we can always go to PokeGym =p
 
then we don't need it, as n00bs shouldn't be allowed in Life =). They don't need to be on the beach nor the Gym (unless WPM want's them =P)
 
it is basically a synopsis of the deck and its contents.  It breaks down a deck that is considered to be one of the top decks in the format and it talks about the strategy and the matchups.  You talk about what you would do with the deck.  It is basically the deck garage with an actually "good" list.  It is very helpful to many players that some call "noobs."  As Holystar said it introduces "netdecking" which is something the pokebeach site thinks is bad.  It really isn't, it helps the younger, inexperienced, and an overall player who can't think of decks because they can't or have the capability to think for themselves.  I don't think it is bad if someone copies the list.  As long as they change the deck and make it there own for there metagame and overall preference.  This will also make the new player able to become a decent player.  Over time they will be able to make there own decks that are very competitive and very consistent and win with it.  But I guess the mods/admins only want people that win now to constantly win in the future. IMO it is very selfish of them and kind of a dumb reason as to why we shall not have an archetype section. I think that my poll sort of speaks for its self....maybe we should have an overall poll that everyone must vote on in order to stay on the beach(unless they never log on). That way it is a vote of petition in a way...Maybe it should be stickied but wait.....the mods wouldn't want that now would they????

if you are asking if Pokegym does then the answer is YES!!!!
It is better than this forum in every way known possible IMO. I reccomend you go there if you want help with a deck.
