Tried a lighter background, but it just made the Fakemon camouflaged.

I always try to draw in Ken Sugimori's style, which is what normal Pokémon are drawn like.
I just fail at it.

I think it's actually just your line art, its different to what Sugimori does. You paint it well.

Here's another Fakémon Legendary!!! I used some colours from Cobalion, Volarona, Arcanine and Quagsire.
One of my best attempts so far.

I improved the texture and holo effects for a more FA look.
