Pokemon are there other creautres in the pokemon world

ex of pokemon food chain:
oddish - pidgey - fearow - RK9 - rhydon - groudon - mew (yeah, mews eat groudon...)

anyhow, I think no-one in the pokemon world eats food, they eat rice, berries, and other stuff that comes from plants

Hehe, I'll believe that if you can find me a picture of a metagross eating a berry :D

Slightly off topic huh?

take your GBA, insert any game with metagross, give it a berry, will it eat it?, YES
so, you see, dear men and women of the jury, pokemon DID NOT eat other pokemon, I rest my case

Yeah, but it doesn't like it. As soon as you switch the game off, it stamps on a couple of weedle and then sulks in the corner. It likes roasted Grumpig I think. Anyway, how does Claydol manage to eat a berry...?

Oh yeah, Ekans eats spearows eggs... so that sort of counts.

Here's my foodchain:

Mew :p-Magikarp-Caterpie-Weedle-Small rodents like Sentret-Small birds such as Pidgey, etc.-Small dogs like Vulpix-Ursaring-Ryhdon-Tyranitar-Groudon/Kyogre-Arcanine.

That's the official one in Prima's Guidebook ;).

Arcanine out.

Yes it is. So, back on topic...

Food chain should be based on size. Therefore Mew should not be able to eat Groudon.

Then what would be the prey metagross pined then ate?

OBviously, in the Episode where Blissey appears in, you can see that there are trays of food. Namely Eggs and bacon. So, eggs come from chickens. There must be a possibility here. And bacon is just really the obvious one.

I'm so tempted to say something here.... =3

Anyway, no way a groudon could eat a metagross. That's the human equivalent of biting into a concrete sandwich.

we're in the pokemon world, every poke lays eggs, and they don't look like those, so the eggs should come from chansey, the bacon, well, ask bacon-boy :p

Meowth tried to eat James' Magikarp in the episode after Ash and friends got shipwrecked. The food chain here i the real world's animals should apply to what the Pokemon represent (e.g. Meowth represents a cat). Bu Pokemon like Magnemite (represents a magnet) do not eat other Pokemon. I think...
