BW/BW2 Area evolutions

How if GF going to solve this problem? Do we need to trade our Magnezones/Leafeons/etc. from DPPt again, or will there be similar areas in Isshu? And if the last is the case, will they place those areas future games too (if there will be).

I don't see that happening, because then they will allways need to put 'caves with strange magnetic fields' and 'elemental rocks' in their games, and that restricts their creativity. I personally think they will solve it by adding items coming from Sinnoh like 'Mt. Coronet Stone' or 'Piece of Moss Rock'.

In my opinion, the restricted area evolutions is the least-thought-about (I'm sorry if this isn't formulated correctly, English isn't my 1st language) way of evolution.

Well in HG/SS you weren't able to have Magnezone or The Special Eeveelutions and what not so sadly I think it will just be looked over and those pokemon will just have to be traded over. Though I really like your idea of 'Piece of Moss Rock' and items of similar nature. It is possible they could do that, but I think it would have been in HG/SS.

Well, there was a cave with floating rocks in one of the screenshot. Perhaps it's Magnetic somehow? They could use that for Magnezone and Probopass.

And it wouldn't be too hard to stick a Mossy rock or Icy rock on some route somewhere.

Hey wait... Could you even evolve Leafeon/Glaceon/Magnezone/Probopass in HGSS?

Nope. Area evo's were non-existant in HGSS, and i don't see them in B/W.

Hmmm...Floral Rock/Ice Stone (For Eveelutions) And for Magnezone/Probopass you trade a Magnet/some special rock or Metal Coat?

But hey, also consider : there's been rumor that NO previous Pokemon will be included in B&W.
Its a possibility Leafeon, Glaceon, and Probobass won't even be around to catch! ;)

I don't remember that rumor, but it seems possible. I mean, Isshu is supposed to be far far away, so there maybe will be less/(maybe) no previous pokemon. But I wouldn't like that, though.

And then again, if you transfer your Magnemite from DPPtHGSS and evolve it in Magneton in BW, how will you be able to evolve it further in Magnezone? Transfer it back to the previous games and evolve it there and then trade it back again? Sounds like a lot of work to me!

They'll probably throw something in.

Exactly!

^Why don't you just trade an already evolved Magnezone to BW?

I like to evolve all my pokémon by myself. I never catch allready evolved pokés, unless it can't be otherwise.

^But Magnezone isn't catchable in the wild anyway... What I was saying is why don't you train and evolve a Magnemite in DPPt all the way to Magnezone and then just trade it to BW?

usually every pokemon will have away to be obtain in a new gen...remember that milotic oso have a way to be obtain in 4th gen...

The Area evolution was definitely a flop. I'm liking the idea of items that came from the location required for an evolution.
