Transportation: The Metro Light Rail stops at the entrance to the South Building of the Phoenix Convention Center. An all Day pass is only $4 per person and can be purchased at any station. ($2 All Day Pass for Youths age 6-18, Children under 5 years old are Free).
Sky harbor airport now has a “Sky Train” which connects to The Metro Light Rail too. There are many hotels along the entire route of The Metro Light Rail. I have listed a few of the ones closest to the event with the best prices.

Hotels:
There are many hotels surrounding the event, if you are looking for one, I have done some of the research already and one hotel has given us a "Pokemon" rate. My advice would be not to wait to long to book your hotel for those players traveling in, there are many other events going on that weekend which is why only one hotel would discount their rates for the Pokemon event. There is a Cardinals vs Seahawks game on Thursday nite prior to the event and the State Fair is going on too. It would be best to book soon!

RE: Arizona Regionals Oct. 19/20

You posted everything there is to know about Arizona Regionals?
You marvellous human being. You are now my favorite person for the week.

I only wish I didn't have something going on that weekend, or else I'd probably be there for sure...

RE: Arizona Regionals Oct. 19/20

There is a very good chance I will be attending the tournament with my banned group of friends. Maximum hype! I'm really excited, this event is shaping up to be amazing.

RE: Arizona Regionals Oct. 19/20

uuuuuuuuugh I can't believe I'm missing VY and his crew
why am I busy that weekend ;-;

RE: Arizona Regionals Oct. 19/20

I'll likely be attending this event.

RE: Arizona Regionals Oct. 19/20

SO, who all is going? Anyone have an open spot in their Car Pool?

RE: Arizona Regionals Oct. 19/20

I'm confirmed for going. BTW, if anyone needs Genesect EX before the event, you should totally holler at me. I have a ton of spares.

RE: Arizona Regionals Oct. 19/20

Good luck at the tournaments today and tomorrow, everyone!

RE: Arizona Regionals Oct. 19/20

I got 3-0-3 in swiss and was a single point away from making it to top 8, its official, i hate ties, in 2 of my ties, I had the game (both game 3) in hand, but max potion and N were the death of me tieing in both of those games. And in one of those ties, I drew completely dead all 3 games and the only win he got was because i only had a mr mime and sableye out, no other pokemon, no supporters, just a hand full of useless energy and a dark claw. And to finish it all off, I played against 3 Blastoise decks which is a bad match for me, (I was playing Darkrai) but i won one of those and tied 2 of them, overall I don't blame my deck, I don't blame misplays, I blame the heart of the cards. It doesn't favor me...

RE: Arizona Regionals Oct. 19/20

I think everyone hates ties.
I don't think I've run into anyone who actually likes them yet.

RE: Arizona Regionals Oct. 19/20

One thing I will say, the Bo3 tournaments get all the top players in cut. They work in that regard.

RE: Arizona Regionals Oct. 19/20

Well I did pretty bad.
However, I met a ton of awesome people and did a ton of awesome trades.

Overall, a really great experience.

RE: Arizona Regionals Oct. 19/20

Anyone know who won Seniors? It was between two Cali players.

5-1-2, 16th place. Wish I could have made the cut. Oh well, could have done worse I guess, made me entry fee back.
