I got sent some entries that were Pokémon-related; none were accepted, but I made sure to inform the participants so they were able to submit a different entry if they wished.

I had it down between 4 & 7.
4 because I love Adventure Time, and I think the collage was a creative was to make the fan art.
7 because I think the stance is interesting, and could be a challenge to draw. But the artist did a good job. And you can really see the work that they put into it. Also, despite it being digital, you can clearly see that it was drawn. I think that adds some personality to the picture. My only complaint is that I think it could have a better background.

Also, number 8 seems very interesting, but the picture is so blurry =\

1. Hands down. It has a nice demonstration of technical skills, nice blurring effect, beautiful use of light and shadow, and I think whoever did this really shows what a digital artist can do. The actual design is really nice too. I like. Very much.

lolno. It is pretty smexy artwork. Ponies just make it better <3
The better question is, why are people voting on #2? Its just a photograph of a dying/dead fish. But if it is legit artwork (not a photo) that is amazing.

5 would take some serious digital art skill to do
2 is photography, which is art. You may not see anything in it, but someone else might.
