Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres Downloads in May

Is it three codes to get all three birds or one code for a random chance at one of these birds, I'm not quite clear on that as everything else that has been done is one code for a random bird, and this is also mentioned on the posting for it on serebii.net

If it 's the former than yay!

If it's the latter then why are they making it so hard to get these guys?

"Codes to download all three Pokemon will be available in May’s Pokemon Trainer Club newsletter." It says codes so I'm assuming it's more than one code so most likely all 3 birds will be available for download.
 
I can agree that pressure is better on Moltres and Zapdos than their hidden abilities.

Articuno is certainly a bit situational but Snow Cloak is a good one as long as you're either willing to use Hail yourself or have Abomasnow do it or something. Granted I know weather got nerfed a lot in this generation but it doesn't make it completely useless.

I just like the stall game they can have. Static and Flame Body are good abilities, as is snow cloak but I feel pressure can be better if you can use it often. From what I can tell, I would much rather burn a physical attacker over paralyzing it (if it cant be burned like charizard x) so I guess they all really have a place they on a team.

Serebii said that all European countries including Germany and France will receive codes for the HA birds via the newsletter as well. Personally I'm happy about this because I was p***ed when it was announced that they'd be distributed at Smyths toy stores in the UK because I live like 60+ miles away from my nearest one and hardly anyone on fb had clones/spares to trade so I never bothered pursuing them 'cuz I accepted I was not going to get them. I better sign up for the newsletter before I kick myself for missing the opportunity.

static and flame body are really good on the birds because they are the only users which hold roost/recovery (only good ones anyway- i know magcargo has flame body too i think), and both have pretty good physically defensive typing. that means can both switch in repeatedly on u-turn and have a really large chance of severely punishing the u-turner, which is rly nice, without being worn down. in fact im not sure if theres another meta user of flame body or static that can use it defensively- closest is volcarona. these abilities are really strong imo they just have poor dsitribution and are usually held by mons with garbage typing which cant offers the resistances to switch into things, so itll definitely be a really nice boost for both mons

I'm very excited to get my hands on a hidden ability Moltres. YES! Flame Body can go perfectly with some of the combos I've created in the VG competitive. Looking forward to this! :D

Is May supposed to be a big download month? We get the birds, we get the next Pokémon in line for the Mythical Collection, and with the shiny kalos legendaries in May, shouldn't we have a download for them in May for the game?
 
Well, that is nice. I don't feel quite excited as I were in other similar events (namely the 2gen starters with their HA), since none of them really benefits from its new ability to make it distinguishably viable in competitive battle.

You mean Talonflame? :p

In any case, I suppose this means we're down to only a handful of unreleased HA mons then, (Jhoto dogs, Heatran, and maybe 1-3 more, if any). Ofc, if we're talking gen 6 native (thus tournament legal), there's also the Djinn trio that were Dream Radar only - but then again only Sheer Force Lando-I saw much use out of that lot.
