First episode of Ash vs Paul was awesome!!! And the preview for the next looks even more awesome!!! Drapion and Ninjask look like they are really helping Paul. Still Ash is doing amazing, so far. :p

Indeed. I like that for the past few battles Ash has been mimicing Paul's battling style, recalling pokes and sending out better substitutes. Means that we get more infernape action later. I think he'll be left til last, when he'll battle Electivire, for old times sake.

But yeah, today's episode was great. Infernape I have already squee'd over, and Staraptor was on top form, escaping using Close Combat, right? Also, Ash tagging it out and using Buizel was genius play. Ice Aqua Jet returns! That being said, I'm expecting it to insta-KO'd next battle.

One thing, what was Paul saying to Reggie on the phone? I have no idea what went on then.

Ummm ya it was close combat. And I didnt expect 1 ice punch to KO that gastrodon, they are fricking bulky and its not like it was super effective but thats the anime for ya. Anyways Paul was talking to Reggie about and good luck stuff I think. Nothing too serious. And Ya infernape is amazing and paul using the counter shield with gastrodon was SOOOOO cool. The preview for DP 187 gave me goosebumps and I cant wait. Ninjask looks like it is kicking ass and frosslass in battle will be cool. OH and drapion is amazing!! this is a really epic battle and I cant wait for more!! :p

Not even Torterra was the worst i was mad just looking at him when he got pwned! When torterra got caught in drapion's claws he could have countered with leafstorm duh! lol

Off-topic: I think Charizard will be back after the match. Well, that's if Ash wins. Hey, Gliscor came back, and Charizard is overdue for a debut.

On-topic: This match is amazing! Paul is now my top rival for Ash, next to Gary, of course. Does anyone recall when Ash first fought a Sinnoh Pokemon, Electivire? And Paul happens to have one? Sounds familiar. :p I think Ash has a good chance at winning this time! I hope he does. I'd like to see him versus Cynthia. I dont really care about the Darkrai trainer, but I probably will have to sooner or later. :p

Im kinda dissapointed in how torterra battled. I mean i thought it was supposed to be a powerhouse.!
And i like how ash finally used its healing move after like 100 eps. XD

So is Drapion reggies or pauls because i remember an episode in the snowpoint city arc that reggie battled brandon with drapion. Anyway i haven't seen it yet i usually watch some of the episodes on saturday but it looks amazing to me.
