How many characters are we allowed to use in the chapter? 11?
The role with the most votes becomes that member. [For instance, @Athena will be Athena if the votes stopped now.]

You certainly can! However, if multiple members are suggested for the same character, only the character/member combination with the most votes will get in. For example, you're currently nominated for both Ogma and Camus, but since Ogma has 2 votes and Camus only 1, if I were to end voting right now, you would get the role for Ogma and Camus would be someone else or no one.
Also, gah, I just noticed now that @SilverSilent edited his post. For the future, everyone, please don't do that! Otherwise I will probably miss your votes, just like I almost missed his... >_>

All right, I was just asking. I don't really have any more votes in mind, I was just curious.
...So I have no idea who does what in this game. I fully plan on playing it through myself soon, but I have no opinion yet on characters.

Everyone fights. Most people do not do anything but fight. Crappy characters is one of the downsides of SD; almost no one gets any kind of characterization whatsoever throughout the course of the game, and some people literally say nothing except their death quote. The only playable characters that are actually important to the plot in any way are Marth, Caeda, Minerva, and Gotoh. Some characters to get a bit of a story the chapter they come in (for example, Navarre, Julian, and Lena all have a little drama/story during their chapter), and the Whitewings (Palla, Catria, and Est) get mentioned a couple chapters even, but even then, once they join they're just another faceless member in the army, and this is basically the case for everyone except the 4 I mentioned.
Since reclassing is really broad as well, the only things most characters bring to the game are their bases, growths, and stat pool. Oh, and which of their mugs is the ugliest, I guess. The lack of personality makes them really easy to sacrifice at least.

Herp derp, thanks. This game is kind of terrible with names because some names are different in the NA/EU versions, plus a lot of people are just used to the Japanese transliterations (that's what Marich is, apparently), and then there are even more that get different spellings in different games (SD vs. Awakening vs. SSB). It's annoying.
I only really know the NA names myself. Anyway, added.I'll blame that one on SS's edit.

Gah, unfortunately I won't be able to start this up tomorrow. I totally spaced that I have a super busy day. My husband is staying home and we're having a new wardrobe delivered, so I'll be spending a good amount of time working with him to get that put together and setup. I guess that gives you guys a full extra day to make any other suggestions if you like.
EDIT: Actually, I might have time to sneak in a chapter anyway. So I'll be ending suggestions a bit sooner. Looks like we've got a pretty good team built up anyway.

Alright, in preparation for hopefully starting tomorrow, I'm going to go ahead and end character suggestions now. I'm not really expecting anymore anyway, but we've had a nice turn out, so I'm pleased.
I'm also going to be revealing a SEKRIT SUGGESTION MECHANIC: I was automatically discounting every single suggestion that voted for Athena with me being Athena. I mean, come on guys, it's just too obvious. If anyone were to vote me for someone else, that's who I would be; otherwise I'd just be a faceless narrator. Instead, I ended up getting TWO separate other character nominations, so @Green778 and @NotJim get gold stars. Since Minerva ended up being the character with the most votes of the two, I ended up taking her.
