If Jynx is baby evo'd from Smoochum, will Jynx be affected by Aggron ex's poke body?

No, Aggron ex's poke-body will not affect Jynx even though it is a Basic Pokemon because when Smoochum evolve into Jynx, Jynx is treated as a Stage 1 pokemon....

I think it does count as a basic, although don't quote me. My proof is that no where on smoochum or jynx does it say that it ever counts as a stage 1 pokemon. If jynx counts as a stage 1, then raichu (if evolved from pichu and pikachu) would count as a stage 2 pokemon, and  recently there was a thread about whether or not that raichu counts as a stage 1 or 2.

-Edit-
I just revisited the raichu forum and if Pimpwalkin' Mateo Johnson is correct, it counts as a stage 1.

Pichu Basic
Pikachu Stage 1
Raichu Stage 2

If evolved from Pichu...

Any Pokemon that evolves from a baby is treated as a Stage 1.

Yes. Pichu is considered as a Basic Pokemon. And as for the main question, Jynx is considered as an Evolved Pokemon and therefore Aggron-ex will have no effect on it.

To answer your question again, yes, Basic Pokemon that have evolved from their Baby forms are treated as evolved Pokemon. In addition, if that Pokemon evolves again, then that Pokemon would be considered a Stage 2 Pokemon.

You can Rare Candy a Pichu into a Raichu, but you can't Rare Candy it into a Pikachu since Pikachu does not say it evolves from Pichu. So if your Poke-Power is disabled, Rare Candy can't help you get out of it unless you've got Raichu in your hand. Just thought I'd want to clarify that.

If you really want to disable Jynxfett, use Omastar (PK) and some Cessation Crystals. Ta-dah.

That's wrong.

You can only use Rare Candy on a Basic Pokémon if there is a direct evolutionary path to the Pokémon you are Rare Candying into (this is why you can Candy into Dark Dragonite from Dratini, an example the Compendium gives I believe).

Since there is no direct path to Raichu from Pichu, you can't use Rare Candy on it (a Pikachu card that says "Evolves from Pichu" would have to exist for this to be allowed).

Here's a quote from the Compendium for further clarification.

The Compendium said:
Q. Can I use Rare Candy to evolve Pichu into Raichu EX?
A. No, Rare Candy states if you have a card that "Evolves From" your Pokémon Pikachu does not say that it "Evolves From" Pichu, so Rare Candy will not work in this situation. (Sep 11, 2003 PUI Rules Team)

And A_A, wouldn't just using Cessation Crystal get the job done? If you think about it, there's no reason to waste a turn devolving them if their powers are shut off. If they can get rid of the Crystal, they can just Baby Evolution their Bench again and completely cure themselves in the process.

Just a thought.
