Ruling baby pokemon

yes they do!

In What Order Do You Attack?
The exact steps to go through when attacking are listed here. For most attacks, it will not matter what order you do things in, but if you have to work your way through a really complicated attack, follow these steps in order and you should be fine.
a) If the Defending Pokémon is a Baby Pokémon, flip a coin to see if your turn ends without an attack. (If your turn ends without an attack, do not do any of the other steps. You are done now.)

I use babys ... they are funny that way!

Basic Pokemon with the "Baby Evolution" Poke-Power are not Baby Pokemon as defined in the rulebook. You do not implement the flip rule for them.

Baby Pokemon actually say "Baby Pokemon" as the evolution stage on the card, and also have the flip rule printed right on them. Baby Pokemon do not exist in any set after WOTC Skyridge. The only reason Baby Pokemon are mentioned at all is because the rules still apply for Unlimited games.
