What about the article Chad Harris wrote? Speed Spread 2? It's basically 4-4 Bronzong, 4 Baltoy, 2 Claydol GE, 2 Claydol HP, Zapdos, and other stuff. That may work for BR's.

Speed Spread won't be a deck until Spiritomb comes out. Until then, any "Speed Spread" decks completely and utterly fail.

Just go with what you feel like playing, I used Empoleon and won the BR. Since you have a Banette+Gyrados deck, why not change to Arithmatic? Just a couple of Dols and Gyrados's.
