Nope. Anyone who reads Jay's posts before voting will be subconsciously (or even consciously) influenced to center most of their time thinking of whether or not to vote for C. They will think a lot more about C than about something such as D, which few have mentioned. Whether this will make them more or less likely to vote for C I can't say (it would probably depend on the person) but it will most likely affect their decision.

See I knew to not look at these convoluted posts before voting. I've already made my choice so I can sit back and watch you guys kill yourselves. I'll probably go through this whole thing just guessing. Putting thought into it is what kills you. In other words, you are your biggest threat.

The problem is that he died because he didn't vote C. Everyone has already sent their vote (with C of course) but the GM can't update because he didn't vote for C, the only chance of survival. Anyone who didn't vote for C can still change in case the GM suddenly decides to vote for C.
