Welcome to Pokebeach's third edition of Be Unpopular or Die! Here are the main rules, carried over from the first edition:
But ah, it wouldn't be a Twist Edition without a twist! In fact, there are several! Several twists!
1.Firstly and foremost, getting the most popular answer does not necessarily mean you are out. Each individual who guessed the most popular answer will be put into a challenge against each other, and only half can return. These challenges range from "Answer this riddle" to "make me laugh", which I totally didn't steal from The Challenge, and so forth.
2. When submitting your answer, you may also, if you so choose, bet on a person you think WON'T get the most popular answer. If you bet right, if YOU get the most popular answer, you're safe. But if you bet wrongly, then you also get sucked into the popular answer column.
3. The person(s) with the most bets on them at each stage (at least 3) will receive a prize which will put them at an advantage for the next stage.
4. No, you are not allowed to bet on yourselves.
5. Enjoy yourselves.
6. Yes, there will be more twists. Of course!
Signups will be open until I deem them closed. Get signing up!
The premise of the game is simple: a question is asked, there are four options you can choose from. Each user signed up to the game PMs me with their answer. Now, when the results are in, the option with the highest amount of votes is the most popular answer. Therefore, anybody who voted for that option is eliminated from the game.
People can post whatever they want in the thread, if it is to do with the game. You can lie about what you chose, or tell the truth and give reasoning for why you chose it.
Here's an example of a question:
What item would you want to keep?
A) Inflatable Dartboard
B) Chocolate Teapot
C) Waterproof Sponge
D) Helicopter Ejector-Seat
Say, there's 80 participants in the game, 20 choose A, 15 choose B, 40 choose C and 5 choose D, all the people who voted C are eliminated.
