Pokemon:22
3x Floatzel (Unleased 16)
3x Buizel (Unleashed 45)
3x Squirtle (Unleashed 63)
2x Wartortle (Unleashed 42)
3x Blastoise (Unleashed 13)
3x Beartic (Emerging powers 98)
3x Cubchoo (Emerging powers 28)
2x Mantine (Heartgold/Soulsilver)

Trainers/Supporters:23
3x Switch
4x Professor Oak's New Theory
2x Professor Juniper
4x Pokemon Communication
2x Professor Elm's Training Method
3x Pokemon Collector
3x Pokemon Catcher
2x Rare Candy

Energy:15
4x Double colorless energy
11x Water energy

So the basic strategy here is to basically work around whatever your opponent throws at you,if it's a heavy hitter block it with Beartic or snipe the bench with Blastoise. If its a speedy deck use Blastoise to snipe the threats and save Beartic for whats left.

hmm i actually kinda like it. but with retreat heavy and catcher, this deck might just tumble :/ i mean its a good premise but the meta is a wee bit too fast for it. im actually going to run this in keague play tho so thanks for the idea.

oh and
-1 cubicho( too lazy to scroll up :D )
-1 beartic

+ 2 mantine hgss( i think, the only leagal manitne)

good way to pull out pokes ;)

Try using an energy accelerator to help speed things up. Try feraligater since it goes well with blastoise and so you can more easily get everything setup by T2.

Thank you for recommending me that great starter, after some testing it really works well.

I use Blastoise to bring up the water energys i put on Floatzel.

Finally does anyone have an idea on what i could take out to put in about 3-2 rare candies?

Yes, the Elm's. Communication is better cause it doesn't use your Supporter for the turn. Plus, if you have Mantine, you might not even miss them.

And I'm not sold on Fisherman in a deck where you return energies to your hand after you attack.

Oh. I didn't see the floatzel in there. Never mind then. Have you ever considered kyurem? It goes pretty well with blastoise since kyurem does 30 to all the opponent's Pokemon and blastoise snipes for 100.

i ran this deck, but kyurem ex instead of beartic. more consistent and you don't need to go through 3 different evolve cards so it saves space in the deck. GL

Sorry for the late replies

I did try Kyurem, but it just didn't help me against some of the bad blastoise machups where as Beartic gives me a fighting chance.

Rocky Helmet. They're not going to be attacking anyway.

Thank you for the suggestions il make these changes.

-3 Rocky Helmet
-1 fisherman
-1 Professor Elm's New Training Method

+1 Pokemon Communication
+2 Mantine HG/SS
+2 Rare candy

Try
-0-1-0 blastoise (rare candy will help)
-1 mantine (i think 1 might be enough)
-1 switch (2 is enough)
-1 PONT (3 may be enough)
-2 PETM (not good since it uses up your supporter for the turn)
-2 water energy (10 will definitely be enough)

+3 N (good supporter for hand refreshment and disruption)
+4 junk arm (needed for reusing trainers)
+1 rare candy (could help setup faster) or more draw supporters

I actually played against a deck similar to this at Battle Roads which did surprisingly quite well. It had the Blastoise with Floatzel engine whilst also running Kyurem in there. I'm personally not sold on Beartic. IMO, Beartic needs Switch and Vileplume, however obviously the to counteract each other. I think this is great for League play and possibly smaller tournaments, but I can't see this particular build making any serious impact on the format.
