Bellibolt ex from Clay Burst has been revealed! The set will release in Japan on April 14th.
The cards from Triplet Beat, Snow Hazard, and Clay Burst will combine to form our Paldea Evolved set on June 9th.

Stage 1 – Evolves from Tadbulb

This is honestly a bit scary. 160 is pretty high for such a good effect, and 2 energy isn't much of a sacrifice with Flaafy running around. At least it's a good Lugia counter.

That's a good point, though Lugia doesn't run many switching options, so it could still really hurt. I'm excited to mess around with this card

I don't think this card will be good tbh, the 1st attack is... well... not really good and the second one is really similar to the Luxray V's one, it's just 40 more damage for exactly the same effect. On the other hand Luxray V is a base pokemon while Belibolt is a stage 1 pokemon.
The only advantages from belibolt agaist Luxray is that he can 1HKo Lugia without anything due to weekness (or 2HKo with dunsparce) and he has much more HP while Luxray need belt to OS (and also 2 Hit with belt if there is dunsparce)

I can see Bellibolt ex being a good counter to Lugia Vstar if it ever sees a resurgence. Not bad, I like it

I mean it’s not really gone away, still not the the meta monster it was before but still quite good.
