Pokemon Best and worst Player Character and Rival designs?

Let me change my previous statement. I'll say my worst rival is Bianca. She's so happy-go-lucky and so certain that you and Cheren outclass her in everything (which you do, but still) that it gets boring and annoying. She's a good friend, but a terrible rival.
2 years later updated opinion time!
Favorite male player characters: FRLG Red and Hilbert
Least favorite male player character: Lucas
Favorite female player characters: Leaf and Hilda
Least favorite female player character: Lyra
Favorite rival: Silver. His design is weird, but I like his personality
Least favorite rivals: Good, god, the Unova rivals are all terrible. Hugh's dialogue is hilariously bad (Muh rage), Cheren's so boring with his obsession with getting stronger, and Bianca's probably the worst character in the franchise. I don't see how her ditsy personality is supposed to be likable or funny. She's extremely annoying.

My favorite player character is Brendan because he was the first player character I went all the way to the top with. His design is also really neat, a departure from Red and Ethan but still very Pokemon (much like R/S/E itself). Red is a very close second. He's simplistic, but not plain—something I really like.
Waitwaitwait. Holdup. I forgot about Wes and Michael. Wes is tied for number 1 because he's badass in every imaginable way, and Michael is third because he's got a great design.
My least favorite is Lucas. He fits in well with the rest of Generation Four, though!
As for rival characters, Blue is my favorite. There isn't any particular reason why I like him, I just do. Silver is second, because he's got an actual personality and actual reasons for the way he acts and the things he does (in HGSS, at least). I also don't mind Cheren.

Favorite female hero: the chick from black and white. She has the most edgy outfit and it is super cute! He character design isn't bland at all.
Favorite rival: sliver because he felt like a real rival and was a jerk.
Least favorite male hero: the guy from DPP. What was up with the scarf and the hat? I mean props for having Accessories, but I think you over did it just a tad bit....
Least favorite girl: the chick from hgss. I mean yeah in chibi artwork the overalls are adorable, but realistically.... No... And her hat!!! With those pigtails.... *shivers*
