Best deck for a 6 year old?

I'm trying to get my 6 year old sister into pokemon but I don't know what deck she should use. She can't read very well, but I'm planning to walk her through it. What's the easiest competitive deck for a 6 year old to grasp? Thank you.

Probably jumpluff. Its a good, fast deck with a lot of firepower. You can run it alone so there isn't anything complicated in it to understand. Or if you think she can figure out a little more, you can use Claydol or HGSS Sunflora to speed the deck up.

another rather easy to play deck is speedrill. its a ton of fun, and will do well in juniors.

yeah they are very similar. I thiink Jumpluff is better though, and I need to test against it lol.

I second this. All you really have to do is lay down Pokemon, attatch a grass energy and say "Mass Attack." Pretty much the basics of Pokemon lol. I know a Junior in my state got 1st with Jumpluff, and she was younger than most juniors. Besides, Jumpluff is lovable, huggable, and cute. Who wants a deck with a Pokemon that has none of their interest? Especially new players? I'd be embarassed to run a Grumpig deck.

Jumpluff for sure, it's meta, easy to play, cute etc.
Also consider Gyarados it's not as easy but it is simple too.

I know if I was a 6 year old starting a deck I would like a lot of cute pokemon.

Jumpluff is a great deck and it's pretty auto-pilot, as others have said. Maybe introducing Luxray, Bats, and Turns would be a little too much though. Oh, and DON'T use Sunflora, at least not in this format. =\

Machamp is probably your best bet though. Machop - Rare Candy - Machamp - Take Out is about as easy as you get, and can allow her to get lucky wins against better Jr. players too.

Well, my deck (My Littlest Pet Shop/Felions) is a great one for newbies....it got 6th in the Sydney, N.S.W-Australian Citys this year...but it needs to be updated for the new format (which is MD on).

I don't know dude. Gyrados is a difficult deck to run. It might be hard for a 6 year old to comprehend that they needed to use half of regice's power to discard their basics, or a sableye to get the carps and discard them. And after the gyrados dies, they have to get one specific card to bring it back. I'd stay clear of gyarados for new players.

I say Scizrim. You don't need to keep counting up things with Crobat G, Turn, or things like that. With Scizrim, you really aren't doing anything. No Uxie, Claydol, things like that.

Anything that revolves around a strategy which doesn't need anything other than attacking mindlessly. Scizor is okay, but any of the theme decks would work.

Guys, he said a competative but easy deck. Scizor Cherrim does nothing at all... thus its bad. Good job reading ;)

Faceplant, I think Jumpluff wins. Its quick and simple. 6 is not too young at all. That's when I started playing. Pokemon taught me to read [well] from an early age, and I kept with it. I hope your sister has a great experience.

Ghozt, if you can use logic and can read to an extent, pokemon is a great game for you. Why are you criticizing?
