I have come down to two of the best games for me:
Platinum
Flipnote Studio

Super Dodge Ball:Brawlers - I just can't stop playing it...I can put in anything else, and play it for a while, but I eventually just go back to SDB

Platinum was fine for me...I enjoy it, still enjoy it, and get plenty play out of it...any GTA not only a larger console is teh fail, I've been playing the GTA series since before it was made in 3D graphics, and I put Chinatown Wars on par with the original GTA1

Haha, I like Mario Kart DS, Super Mario 64 DS, and...yup. I really liked Pokemon Ranger (both of 'em) too.

Those were made before 2009 ;].

KH: 358/2
HG/SS (If you're counting Japanese games)

Scribblenauts was amazing as a desperately needed unique game. I just didn't like the controls. Bowser's Inside Story and Spirit Tracks were both also very fun. Unlike Bowser's Inside Story though, Spirit Tracks seems to surpass its prequel. Superstar Saga remains the best Mario RPG game in the series to me, but Bowser's Inside Story was a bit better than Partners in Time.

Well, I haven't bought any DS game but Platinum for ages...so it gets my vote.

Kingdom Hearts gets my vote.

Yes, the others are good, yet overall fall short in their own respective areas.

Spirit Tracks was excelent, but is just too similar to Phantom Hourglass (Even if it is better)
Platinum falls under the same catagory
I loved M&L: Partners in Time, but haven't picked the new one up yet.
Scribblenauts was AMAZING, as it is the only game (as of yet) where I could ride on a panda, shooting gernades at schoolchildren.
I liked Starfy better in Brawl.

Spirit Tracks wins hands down for me. The PH system is great (as in, I had no real hope for touch-based games other than point-and-click until I played PH), and they even managed to fix a few annoyances (rolling, menu only uses one corner, menu actually pauses, and so on), story was fun, Zelda is an awesome sidekick (resulting in plenty of awesome cutscenes), and it's just a fun and addictive game, though it had 2 pretty big flaws known as the 4th and 5th Lokomo. I guess I should refer you to the game's specific thread if you want to know my complete opinion.

Platinum I never even got around to finishing, it honestly just bored me to death.
Scribblenauts sounded fun but was a bit of a disappointment (controls...).
Not really a big fan of the Mario RPGs (Unless you count the Paper Mario games, which still aren't amongst my top games, but still).
Stafy isn't released here (yet, I hope), but Kirby Superstar Ultra supposedly did come out (like over a year late, didn't matter since I bought the American version anyways), so I guess that gets 2nd place.
Haven't bought Kingdom Hearts yet, but I might one day when the price drops, though I doubt it would beat Spirit Tracks.

Spirit tracks should win hands down or it proves that everyone on this site has no real knowledge of what a good game really is about. :p

I vote Spirit Tracks! Great Game overall and really brings back memories from the other Zelda games.

Spirit Tracks was great but Scribblenauts was just very creative and unique, something I wanna see in games once in a while. I just didn't like the over-sensitive controls in Scribblenauts...

Never played Scribblenauts, it seems really good. I might buy it and see if it is good.

another good game is The World Ends With You.
Great storyline and the final boss is freaking hard

KH 358/2 Days. Pure awesomeness.
And you forgot Fossil Fighters and Style Savvy.

Isn't that from last year?
Another one for the list should probably be DQV: Hand of the Heavenly Bride.
