RSE/FRLG Best moves for Venasaur? Havent finished Elite 4

I am need moves for:
Venasaur - Leaf Green
Special
Level 65
Pre - Elite Four

I currently have
-Razor Leaf
-Solar Beam
-Growth
-Mega Drain

I think it's great,though you should replace growth with sleep/poisin powder.
 
I no nothing about vena, but I'd guess:

Sleep Powder
Swords Dance
Seed Bomb
Earthquake
 
A couple movesets I strongly recommend for Venasaur~

First- (Hold a Heat rock if possible)
-Sunny Day
-Solar Beam
-Synthesis
-Sludge Bomb

Second-
-Synthesis
-Sludge Bomb
-Giga Drain (Use PP Max) (Mega Drain if you need more PP)
- Double-Edge or Sleep Powder

Oh alright, my movesets still work marvelously however... Heat rock is absolutely not necessary to execute the moveset effectively, it is merely a cushion~
 
unfortunately people,
i havent beat the elite four, and sludge bomb is unavailable unless you beat the elit four and gain access to 4-7 islands

any other suggestions? thnx
 
hmmmm kurama and i have pratically names the best move sets in game
where are you falling ing the 4? why not just get someone else on your team.
Grass/Poision never really have big move pulls (see vileplume and victreebel)

It's FRLG and before E4 :p so no Sludge Bomb, Seed Bomb or D/P items...

I should say:
Item: Leftovers/Miracle Seed (your choice)
- Earthquake
- Giga Drain/Synthesis
- Sunny Day
- Solarbeam

When sunny day is in play Synthesis will restore 100% of the health, but u can go for Giga Drain too if you want to deal some damage too and don't want to keep using Sunny Day before Solarbeam, depends on if you're more offensive of defensive based.
